"Of course. You know the boss. He loves anything golden that can make a fortune. If we bring it to him, I am sure he will be pleased". They both chuckled darkly as they followed the little chimp Pokémon.
At the beach.
Yuma was met with a beautiful sunset as he reached the beach. Several Krabby's were blowing 'bubbles' and made this sight even more spectacular. Yuma sighed in contentment as he watched the display happen. The bubbles hitting the water surface of the ocean along with the sunset were so pretty. Just seeing this cheered him up.
"When the weather is this good, the Krabby's always come out at sundown to blow their bubbles. I missed it yesterday because of this terrible storm. Wonder what that was all about", Yuma mused to himself and sighed again. "I always come here when I feel sorry for myself. This view always cheers me up".
Yuma sighed again before he lets his gaze wander, and suddenly he noticed something weird. At one of the small boulders, was a particular color catching his interest.
"Hu? That boulder wasn't supposed to be blue...". He walked a bit further and now his eyes widened in poor horror before rushing to the scene. "Oh my gosh. Someone passed out here. Hey, hey! Are you okay? Please answer! Oh, I just hope they are okay."
"Hey! Hey! Are you okay? Please answer!".
That was the first word I heard before I groggily opened my eyes. I was met with a particular sight as I noticed a little Chimchar beside me. They looked extremely worried and were clearly in panic.
"Oh, I just hope they are okay. I don't know any nursery Pokémon around here. I could take it to Heartland city, but... are you even supposed to move a sick injured...".
In just that moment I decided I had enough of his whining and tackled him. I intended to push him away a little but guess I didn't know my strength. The result, however, was that the little fire Pokémon hit the sandy ground pretty hard. Ups!
"Hu?" The Chimchar uttered rather surprised as he hit the ground, but surprisingly he was quick to recover "You are awake! I am so relieved!".
I did sweat drop a little at that. I attacked this weird Chimchar and the only thing he did was being relieved that I was okay. Either this Pokémon were extremely docile or just extremely dense. I would have hit him back if it was me. Luckily, that didn't seem to be the case. Instead, I took the time to take in my surroundings. By the looks of it, I was on what was known as a beach, but no matter how much I tried to remember I had no clue why I was lying there. I could remember the sound of thunder though.
"You weren't moving at all. I was seriously worried. Do you know why you were lying here unconscious?" I could then hear this Chimchar ask.
All I could do was shake my head because I had no clue. That of course had the Chimchar worry more.
"Don't tell me you were caught in the storm last night? Maybe you were caught at sea or something?" the Pokémon then concluded thoughtfully, but then suddenly sent me a cheerful smile. "Well, no matter. You are okay now and that's what matters". At that, I did sweat drop again. Talk about optimism...
"My name is Yuma by the way. Happy to meet yer. What is yours? I've never seen you around here before".
...Not to mention seriously chatty. We had just met. This Pokémon was greeting me like I was its best friend or something. What an oddball. However, then I remembered the question he had been asking me and once again I couldn't recall anything. Besides my name that is. It took me seconds to realize what that meant. Was I having amnesia?
