"Did you know Casey Becker?"

"We had cheer together, but we wasn't close" Blair answered honestly

"What about Steven Orth?" Burke asked Blair shook her head "didn't really know him, we've spoken a couple times at games but other than that I didn't know him"

Burke nodded as he and Dewey took notes "can you think of anyone that might want to harm them?" Myself? Blair thought but she didn't think it be wise to say it out loud, her and Casey had their beef. Casey wanted head cheerleader but the world revolves around Blair Atredies- not Casey Becker. So Casey would be bitchy and try and put Blair down but the Raven haired girl never stood for it especially after Stu and her broke up, yep you heard that right. Her adorable fun, loving, golden retriever, blue eyed friend dated the demon named Satan...sorry Casey. She never understood how that even came to be but Casey dumped him for Steve after they'd spent nearly a year together. Blair never let that go.

With a simple shake of her head Blair shrugged "no"

Dewey nodded before he sighed "sorry to do this but we need to ask, where we're you last night?"

Blair thought back to the previous evening, flashes of Billy came to mind. She could stay locked in that memory forever but she didn't think it was a good time to day dream about a boy with a girlfriend "I was at home with my sister. I watched some movies then went to bed" she flashed him a innocent smile that was sure to throw any suspicion off of her, Dewey nodded writing it down "okay, Blair, your free to go" Burke told her with a kind smile

She nodded picking up her handbag, she felt a hand on her shoulder that immediately made her cringe "you can go back to lesson, Miss Atredies" Himbry squeezed her shoulder sending her a creepy smile. She grimaced pushing his hand off her shoulder as she stood up "thanks Sheriff, Deputy Dewey" the two sent her smiles as she exited the office.

"Attention students, after lunch, interrogations will continue. The police are issuing a curfew tonight at 9 PM, and students are encouraged to return home promptly from school grounds. Avoid strangers, and walk in large groups. Your principal loves you, and I, and the rest of the faculty, wants you to be safe"

It was lunch time now. Her friends had gathered at the schools water fountain which was now their claimed spot since sophomore year, Stu and Blair had marked it their territory especially in the summer. Today was warm but it's wasn't cold either so the group stayed in their designated area. Billy was leaned back on the fountain with Sidney between his legs using him to lean against while beside them was Stu and Tatum who was cuddled up and the other side of them was Randy and Blair, the raven head had her head in the boys lap picking petals off of a daisy she'd found. Blair found amusement as she caught Billy glancing at her and Randy with a jealousy in his eyes she guessed that's why he was completely laid out in his back looking up at the sky, sometimes the group wondered how Randy managed to be so close with a total bombshell like Blair. The two were complete opposites but their similar sense of humour and love for movies outshined the social ladder- though it did score Randy some cool points

"Hey Sid, B. What questions did they ask you two?" Tatum asked the two girls while picking at her grapes- Randy leaned over taking a handful

"They asked me if I knew Casey" Sidney answered, Blair hummed "same"

Tatum nodded "they asked me that too"
