The small blonde buried her head in Blair's neck, Blair looked over at the office. She didn't even mean to catch Billy's gaze but the boy was already looking at her with a look she couldn't place. It wasn't a dark look which makes a change for him but there was a small smile on his face, he raised a hand subtly waving at her. She sent him a smile, her eyes were sympathetic as if telling him she believed him. She watched as Billy was put in handcuffs and lead out of the office by two officers along with his father that followed behind "Sidney! Sidney! Come on, you know me!" Billy yelled out looking at the girl who closed her eyes ignoring him "Blair! Come on! Please!"

Blair watched him go regretfully, there wasn't anything she could do to help him. Tatum appeared from behind Billy, walking towards her friends as he was lead out of sight. Tatum knelt down beside Sidney putting a arm around her shoulders "we're going to get you out of here okay? You okay?" The brunette girl sniffled nodding

"I'm staying at Tates tonight" Blair told her sister, Selene scoffed her arms crossed "like fuck you are. Your friend was almost murdered and you think a slumber party is a sensible idea?" Blair laughed sarcastically before her face fell into seriousness "yeah, actually I do.  If you've forgotten it's just us in the house whereas round tates Deputy Dumbass is right next door" Selene shook her head clenching her jaw "don't be a smartass" Blair smiled in victory "do me a favour though, go stay at our beloved aunt and uncle's. It'll ease my conscience" Selene glared at her sister who then kissed the small blondes cheek before handing her back to her elder sister "Dewey, come on" Tatum hissed at her brother catching Blair's attention as she looked over at Dewey who was talking to Burke "you think he did it?" Dewey asked his boss who shrugged "20 years ago I would've said not a chance but these kids today...damned if I know"

Well that didn't help Blair at all. The raven head rolled her eyes walking towards Tatum "hey, Dewey, can we go now?" Tate asked her brother again, Dewey held up a finger "hold on a second" Tatum huffed putting her foot down "goddamn it, Dewey!" Selene turned to face Dewey with a smirk silently telling him to answer his sister while the other officers began to laugh "what did mama tell you? When I wear this badge you treat me like a man of the law" Blair snorted using the back of her hand to cover her mouth as she looked down at the floor

"I'm sorry, Deputy Dewey boy. But we're ready to go now, okay?!" Tatum yelled before she grabbed Sidney walking towards her brother with both Atredies sisters following after her "take 'em out the back way. Avoid that circus out there" Burke told him the small group followed Dewey towards the back doors "he's my superior!" Dewey whisper yelled to Tatum who scoffed turning around "the janitors your superior!".

Outside the station the small group was lead out to a side alley "stay here I'm gonna get the car" Dewey told them running off. Selene turned to her sister "you call me if anything happens okay?" Blair smiled nodding "I will" she then looked down at the blonde that was half asleep "bye, you" the blonde only hummed in response. Selene looked at the other two girls "stay safe, all of you"

The three were then left by themselves in the alley but not for very long "there she is, Sidney!" Snapping her head round Blair caught sight of Gale Weathers in the same ugly highlighter yellow suit, Blair squinted already feeling her eyes burning. Gale and her cameraman Kenny rushed up to the trio pointing the camera at them "hi, some night. What happened? Are you all right?"

Blair pushed her microphone down "we were perfectly fine until you showed up but unfortunately for you and you're horrible sense of fashion, Sidney's not answering questions, so make like a ghost and vanish" Blair sent the women a sarcastic smile narrowing her eyes, Gales camera perfect smile faltered for a second clenching her jaw tightly together probably on attempt to stop herself from arguing with the teenager. Sidney stepped in front of Blair glaring at Gale "no. No. Blair, it's okay. She's only doing her job. Right, Gale?" Blair looked at her friend slightly confused as she shared a look with Tatum. Gales smile returned "yes. That's right"

"So, how's the book?"

More press filled the alley pointing their cameras and lights at the three girls. "Well it'll be out later this year" Gale replied while Sidney just stared at the women emotionlessly "oh, I'll look for it"

Gale laughed smiling "I'll send you a copy!"

Sidney spun around her fist connecting with Gales cheek sending the women flying backwards into her camera man's arms. Blair's face fell into a 'o' as she covered her mouth a laugh escaping her lips "bitch" Sidney muttered as Dewey appeared from behind them pushing the girls towards the car, Blair turned back to Gale with a shit eating smirk "let's hope that punch knocked some better fashion sense into you" Blair giggled to herself before climbing into Dewey's car.
