POV: Miles

Destination: Underground Brooklyn

Time: 12:29 AM

I left Y/n at my house, her and mom were going to catch up, meanwhile I had business to attend.

"Speak." I said as I sat in a chair in front of Y/n's dad.

"You already have my daughter, what do you want me to even speak about?" Y/n's dad asked as his bruised up lip twitched.

Her dad had so many scars and bruises from all of the times I beat him up from the past two years.

"You know what I want to hear. So tell me." 

"I don't have to tell you shit." I chuckled and got up, grabbing him by the hair and smashing his face on the cement, "You must think I am playing. Huh?" I asked as I kept smashing him down.

"SPEAK!" I yelled at him, "I can tell you a few things, but that is about it." "THEN TELL ME!" I shouted, he sighed, "The machine is the least of your worries right now, I do not get what you want to know." "I want to get rid of Miguel. That's what I want to do." I stated.

"But for that I have to shut this multi-verse down. Some way where I can manage to close the portals so no one can ever come in or out. Spot is still after me you know, how do I get rid of him?" I asked.

He raised his eyebrow, "You cannot do all of that on your own." "THEN HOW DO I DO IT?" 

He closed his eyes, "Your father is going to have to die, Miguel is right about your cannon event needing to happen, then after that the spot can be defeated because he knows you have two weaknesses, your family AND Y/n." 

I stared at him and raised an eyebrow, "What are you implying?"  I asked.

"You have to let one go." 

I started laughing, "No."

"Just like Miguel, I had access to see what happens to every spider hero out there, I know what happens, unless Y/n actually becomes a spider-woman, then she will be part of the cannon event, or she can just be the girlfriend who dies. You pick."

I ran my hands through my face stressfuly. 

"What happens if I just want to save both?" I asked.

"It is impossible." 

We stayed quiet.

"Unless you let me handle it."

I looked at him in confusion, "What are you talking about?" 

"Y/n becomes spider-woman, she has to have her cannon event, the person who has to die is me." he explained, "Why would you even do that for her?" he took a deep breath and finally spoke, "Because I owe her, a lot. She has no one because of me, now she is alone." 

There was no way I had sympathy for this man, ever, but this was a moment I finally felt some sort of appreciation, "I know how to stop Spot, and possibly Miguel, Y/n isn't just some other spider-woman, she actually has potential unlike all of you." "Ouch."

"You might be able to destroy powerful forces, but Y/n got bitten by a spider that was not even supposed to escape the lab." "Why has she not used it then?" I asked.

"Psh, she was getting tested in labs, she exploded one from just getting upset, once she get's really into her power, she won't be able to stop, which is why they stopped testing her and freed her, they knew she would escape, which is what they wanted because she could fuck up the planet if she wanted to, good thing Miguel doesn't know yet, because once her spider-woman fate comes to light, he will kill her."

"How do you know all of this?"

"I killed scientists after they gave me the info on the spider, plus I had a knife in my pocket so when you'd leave I would just go in the multi verse. I knew this moment would come too, so I had Y/n's suit designed as well, but you know. Nothing special."

I stared at him in shock, "You're really fucked up."

"That's why I was so rich."

"I cannot let you out of here until Y/n is aware of this you know."

"Yeah I get it, you do know time is ticking though right?"

I nodded.

I had to get this done soon.
