[Y/N]'s MIND DRIFTED TO THE SKIES

She snacked on the famous Wisteria strand by strand, until she had this feeling of wanting to give a gift to Miss Butterfly, a proper gift. For saving her life, of course.

She noticed that Shinobu was fond of insects, specificly butterflies.

If it wasn't obvious, because she owns a estate named BUTTERFLY estate, with BUTTERFLIES living in it, and she wears a BUTTERFLY hairpin, duh.

[Y/N] ran inside the estate in a quick pace, barefoot; scrolling left and right all around the rooms to find a net and a jar for preparations of the crucial mission.

She eventually found it, making a mess behind of unneeded objects on the floors, and refusing to clean it, hiding SMPKW so the innocent cat doesn't take the blame, this is the Kakushis fault, obviously! So obvious!

(Shinobu is aware she's the one making a scene, but, she's just a child anyway.)

She then ran outside, barefoot, staring at each of the peacefully flying butterflies, seeing the one with the most colorful, beautiful, eye-catching wings.

Is this entire flock having a family meeting or something? They all look the exact same.

This is lame to a degree, I need a more special butterfly!

[Y/N] broke the rules again like a madlad and sprints outside the estate's borders, trying to find a more unique looking butterfly.

Kanao watched the desperate younger girl run around and stumbling on rocks carelessly.

Y/N found herself the absolute golden gem situation.

A rainbow gradient butterfly flies around majestically in the wind, the colors of the wings flows along with the sun's shine very nicely.

Just what I wanted.

She sneakily waited for the perfect moment, like a fox and a rabbit scene.
Just a bit...

One...

Two...

AND THREE!

She jumped out with the net aimed at the insect, but missed, [Y/N] saved herself from breaking a bone that belonged to her nose,

She swung the net again but the insect gracefully dodged the attack, leaving [Y/N] a bit pissed, she took a deep breath, don't let this butterfly test your patience.

[Y/N] got up and more calmly this time, swung the net down, grazing just the wing of the damn insect.

Out of frustration and lack of patience, she just threw the jar and by coincidence and by insane odds the butterfly was shoved inside and trapped as the jar was upside down, balancing on a rock.

Oh .

[Y/N] cursed at the net because it was useless, she approached the jar with the fluttering butterfly and closed it tightly, eyeing the beauty of an insect like a vicious predator.

"I order you to a very important role, peasant," [Y/N] began, "Make the queen happy!" By the word queen, she was referring to Shinobu, and herself.

She was already very happy catching such a steal, so, the butterfly succeeded a part of it's task.

[Y/N] went back to the estate with pride, barefoot. Scooping her cat on her free hand, knocking on the door with the jar, behind a room where Shinobu makes "colorful, silly drinks" [Y/N] wanted to drink out of if she wasn't so strictly disallowed to.

She creaked the door open, revealing no one inside but cool gadgets and shi, [Y/N] already caused a scene so she controlled the best out of her curiousity and placed the jar on a open table.

She pat the top of the lid,
"Remember Kololo, make Miss Shinobu the most joyful."
Yeah, Kololo is a set name for the butterfly.

[Y/N] then pat the cat's head with her thumb.
"If Shinobu keeps Kololo, don't eat him, that's what cats do, eat things. You're very familiar to me." She hugged the kitty.

She then placed in a heart sticker with the word [first name of your initial] on the lid, also a doodle of a butterfly ontop.

Another successful day of making the big nine people happy!

Gift was successfully sent to Shinobu.

AFTERMATH: Shinobu indeed was happy, her heart felt warm knowing that [Y/N] had worked to catch such a stunning butterfly, she kept Kololo on another table, placing him? on a slightly larger jar, planning to keep Kololo alive aslong as possible.

...and she was aware that the stubborn child went outside the estate again, but she let it slide, it was for good cause, and she didn't skitter outside at night like usual.
