A hickey. (Y/N) shrieked. "oh lord, What, how, oh dear god, do you have any makeup, what is this how did that-" (Y/N) panicked and then remembered it was Rodrick who gave her the hickey. After school, (Y/N) stood infront of Rodrick's van, her hands on her hips. "Cya guys." Rodrick said, walking out of the school and towards his angered girlfriend, "hey, sweetheart. what's wrong?" he chuckled, grabbing her waist,
(Y/N) wiped her neck and pointed towards it, Rodrick stared at the hickey and smirked, "want more?" He raised his eyebrow, (Y/N) blushed, "no!" She shrieked and the boy laughed.

It was the weekend and (Y/N) found out about Rodrick's fight with Greg in public, She had asked him about it, but he just told her it was Greg's fault. (Y/N) was just at her house, cleaning her room when her phone rang, "Party at my place. Rodrick." (Y/N) raised her eyebrow, she thought he'd be in trouble but she just shrugged it off and went to her closet to get a cute outfit.

She arrived at his house and it was already packed with people, she invited Siri to come aswell and she did. (Y/N) walked over to Rodrick and pulled him to the side, "Rodrick, did you get in trouble?" She asked, "well, mom and dad took manny and left me with Greg for the weekend to 'work out our differences' but i just locked him in the basement" He chuckled at (Y/N)'s shocked face.

After a couple hours, (Y/N) was sitting in the main room with Siri and talking when Rodrick and his friends walked in. "Hey, sweetheart" He walked up to her. She blushed at the nickname. He often called her sweetheart but never infront of others "hi, Rodrick" she smiled, trying not to sink into the couch. "Could you come here for a moment?" He asked, holding her hand, "oh, okay." She replied, getting up and walking behind Rodrick.

"What happened?" She asked, I just randomly remembered this game me and my cousin used to play, we would take a string and wrap it around our finger until it would be tight." He handed a string to her, "wanna try?" She giggled at him, "sure", she took the string in her hand and wrapped it around her finger, "ow ow ow, okay this is perfect!" she smiled, "awesome!" he smiled at her

It had been a couple weeks since the party, Rodrick and (Y/N) had been hanging out less since (Y/N)'s mother had come back from her business trip and her father got a few days off from work to spend time with his family. (Y/N) hadn't told them about his boyfriend and planned on doing it today.

"mom? dad?" (Y/N) called out walking into the living room where her parents were watching a show. "yes, dear ?" "I wanted to talk to you guys about something.". Her parents turned the show off and sat straight to listen to her, "um, I wanted you guys to know, I- have a boyfriend." She mumbled, Her parents looked at her, shocked. "oh darling." Her mother hugged her and her father joined, "that's wonderful. I hope he's a nice guy." she said, resting her hand on (Y/N)'s. "could we meet him someday?" Her father asked, "oh, yeah, I'll ask him" she smiled.

As soon as she came back to her room, she jumped on her bed in excitement. She quickly picked her phone up and dialed Rodrick's number. "Hi, Rodrick!" She spoke, excited, "Hey love, is everything okay?" "yeah! it's good!! i told my parents about you and they don't mind you, infact they want to meet you!!!" "WHAT? NO WAY" "YES WAY" "meet me at friendlessguyisawesome cafe tomorrow at 3 pm." He told her, "alright, love you Rodrick." "I love you more, sweetheart."

3 PM the next day, (Y/N) arrived at the cafe, she was surprised when she saw him already sitting on a seat. His dark black hair as messy as always. "hi!" (Y/N) greeted him and sat with him, "hey, sweetheart." He held her hand, "I just wanted to spend some time with you, get whatever you want." He smiled, passing her the menu. "oh, okay I'll just have a hot chocolate" She told him, smiling and just a second later, a waiter came up with a cup of hot chocolate, "wait what? we didn't even order?" She looked confused and then realized it was her boyfriend, "aww, did you order beforehand?" She smiled, "of course" he winked at her. After an hour of talking, they were gonna leave and head to the bookstore for (Y/N). "check, please." he told a waiter who nodded, they both got up and stood aside waiting for the waiter (haha)
A moment later, the waiter brought the check, (Y/N), who stood to the right where the waiter stood, took the check and opened it, she gasped when she saw the ring surrounded by rose petals instead of a digusting check for their food. She looked at Rodrick who smiled at her

He took the fake check from her and took the ring out and gave the waiter the check back. (Y/N) brought her hand infront of him, smiling, he held her hand and slipped the ring onto her ring finger. He pulled her hand upto his face and kissed it, "I love you, forever and always." he smiled, she blushed and hugged him.
