Who's in the wrong 2

It was an ear bleeding silence on the walk back to Pogtopia. At this point Tubbo and I looked as shredded and torn as Wilbur, our once proud and proper uniformed suits were now rugged and ruined. I walked with my arm around Tubbos shoulder, still applying pressure to his wound, Niki stood the other side of him, trying to comfort him, Tommy stormed behind us, murmuring various curse words all aimed at Technoblade and Schlatt while Wilbur and Techno walked ahead of everyone, faint whispers could be heard even I had difficulty hearing them.

"Wilbur I could have killed him. Tommys never going to forgive me for this." Techno kept his head down.

"But you didn't. There wasn't much for you to do in that situation Techno. You wouldn't of been in that position if my button was still there." Wilbur raising his voice slightly at the last part, he has right.

"Techno wouldn't have almost killed Tubbo if I hadn't of stopped Wilbur, no, instead Wilbur would have killed Schlatt, Quackity, Tubbo, Fundy and I! So I'm so sorry that big brother didn't get to have his moment of glory. Go cry about it to mum. Oh wait." It was low I'd admit but Wilbur shit was starting to get on my nerves, I knew one day I'd regret all this but right now I had too much to think about and Wilbur feelings was no my biggest concern right now.

Wilbur and Techno continued to talk, Wilbur mainly ranting about how excited he is to blow up Manberg and finally 'be free' whatever that was suppose to mean, Techno remained mostly silent but he stayed on high alert, we were in a fragile state and it would be a perfect time for Manberg to strike. Unfortunately we were delt a fate much worse.

"Over here!" A voice called from on top the hill beside us, immediately all swords were drawn, all but Tubbos of course as we all franticly searched for the voice, an circle on protection forming around the injured boy as he reaches a hand out to me for a sign. I turn back "I won't let them hurt you. I promise."

Suddenly the voice calls out again, "Calm down, it's only me." A shadowy figure jumps from where it was once perched, turning its head to look up and removing the hood from its hidden form, it's dream. The look of disgust appears across my face along with Niki and Tommys.

"DREAM! My man. Listen about the whole 'kaboom' situation." Wilbur put his arm around Dream and they turn from the group as we continue to walk to Pogtopia. I leave Tubbos side, leaving Tommy to hold his wound and I place myself next to Technoblade who was also clearing listening to Wilbur and Dream. "Plan was going smoothly until we'll-" Wilbur was interrupted by Dreams quick and harsh response. "Until you failed?"

"Wh- I- well yeah- but it wasn't my fault!" Wilbur jumps infront of Dream, placing his arms out in defensive and continues to talk while walking backwards, "I had everything set up! I had no way of knowing Y/N would destroy the button!" Dream stops, turns around and immediately shoves me back sending me hurling to the ground

Why? Why do you have to try and ruin everything I do?" His tone was calm yet threatening as he towered above me, right hand slightly gripping his sword.

"We don't have time for your games Dream. Tubbo needs medical attention now." Techno pushed past and extends his hand toward me, a disapproving scoff can be heard from Tommy.

All the way back to Pogtopia Dream and Wilbur talk about what's next and the best ways to destroy Manberg, Techno and I have retreated to the back of line incase of an ambush. Everyone is on edge, no one can trust anyone at this point and still all I can think about is Eret. I haven't seen her in hours, after disappearing in the middle of the festival I assumed Schlatt had done something but Dream wouldn't let that happen to the king.

"Where are you Eret." I mutter quietly. Techno nudges me slightly and gives me his reassuring 'im always by your side' smile expect now I don't find comfort in that, all I see is lies. It was going to be a rough few months for everyone.
