Different universe, same connection (Hobie Brown x Reader)

As y/n and Gwen arrived in y/n's universe,she felt home, but at the same time she didn't.
It was a weird feeling, that she couldn't explain in words. 
-So, what's the plan? We go to your house and just pick your things?- Gwen asked, a bit concerned.
-Yeah, I mean, my parents are probably busy and didn't even noticed I was gone.- she shrugged -I'm sure that if I had ever died fighting some criminal, they would have been the last to know, since they live in their bubble.- she said, looking at the street she used to swing among until a day ago. 
-I'm sorry to hear that. Nobody deserve parents like this.- Gwen said a bit sad for her new friend -Where to?-
-Just another couple of blocks, then on the left for another three, then we arrived.- y/n explained. 
As she saw the front of her house, with just her mother's car in front of it, she looked over at Gwen. 
-Mum or dad?- the blonde asked, looking in the same direction.
-Mum.- y/n replied, sighing loudly -We can wait if you want to. My mother isn't exactly the...friendliest type to talk to, y'know.- 
-y/n, we can do how you want. If you want this to be quick, wencan simply go inside and take your clothes. But if you wanna wait for her to go, it's your choice, I can't tell you what to do.- 
y/n thought about it for a second. 
-Let's go inside and finish this already.- she said, looking at the car. 
y/n couldn't bear to stay there for more time than it should have needed. 
They knocked on the door and a woman immediately went to open up. 
-y/n, morning.- y/m/n said, covering the speaker of her phone -Yeah, just a moment Richards.- she said to the person on the other line of the phone -What do you need?- 
-Just some clothes. I'm staying at Gwen's place for a couple of days.- she replied, walking up the stairs as the blonde followed her. 
-Yeah, ok. I'm going to work now. See you later.- y/m/n informed her screaming from downstairs. 
-Such a charming woman.- Gwen joked, as y/n stopped in front of her room before getting in. 
-Told you. She doesn't care much.- she shrugged, lowering the handle and walking in. 
y/n room was the same as it was when she had left her a day ago. 
y/n quickly packed some clothes in the first backpack she found. 
-You done?- Gwen asked when y/n closed the zip of the pack and put it on her shoulders. 
-Mhmh, done.- she nodded -Let's go back.- 
The two girls were ready to go back to Hobie's apartment when they heard a crash just out of the window. 
They looked at each other before taking off their shirts and pants, remaining only with their spider suits on. 
-Ready?- y/n asked, lowering the mask down on her face. 
-When you are.- the other replied with a smirk, opening the window and swinging out.
As they looked around they understood the problem was some cars crashing against one another, because of an explosion. 
People were running in all directions, as the cars' pieces hit them, creating wounds and injuries.
-I'm gonna stop the ones on the left.- 
-Then I'm going right.- the spider-girl with the white suit and hoodie replied as they divided. 
As they tried to save everyone on that street, without looking who they were saving, Gwern saved a man from being crushed by a car. 
She couldn't have made a mistake worse than that one. 
-Thank yo...you're not the Spider-Girl I usually work with.- the man said.
That voice sounded familiar and she froze when she realized why.
-What?- she looked at the man and that fear transmuted in reality -Dad?!- the panic in his voice was evident -No, no, shit, no, no. This wasn't supposed to happen.- 
y/n looked at Gwen and seeing her standing still, she approached her friend. 
-You okay?- y/n asked. 
-No, I'm not. I made a mistake and...- even before Gwen could finish the phrase, the world that surrounded them started to glitch, making everyone running and screaming in fear -Shit, shit, shit.- she whispered as she fiddled with the watch, trying to call for help. 
-What's happening?- y/n asked, confused and scared, but trying to keep it together.
-The universe is collapsing...- the blonde whispered -I wasn't looking who I was saving and I saved my dad. In every universe he has to die...I'm so sorry, y/n.- she started apologizing.
y/n couldn't believe it was happening.
For a moment her brain freezed and wasn't able to process what was happening. 
Suddenly a portal opened right next to the two Spider-Girls and a lot of Spider-Persons came out of it.
Jessica was the first to approach them asking what had happened and if they were okay, seeing y/n a bit shocked by what happened, she managed to call over Hobie and asked him to bring her to his universe. 
-I don't wanna go....I...I can help...- y/n replied seeing her universe collapse right before her eyes, as the glitch kept expanding. 
She couldn't just stay there and do nothing. 
 Hobie expected her to say so, then he looked at Jessica with a confused look. 
-Bring her to your universe.- she told him, before moving ehr gaze as it softened a bit -We'll take care of this, alright? We have done it before, we could do it again. But right now here isn't your place, okay?- 
-This is my universe. This is my city. The city needs me now.- y/n said with a sligh panic in her tone -I can't run away. I won't run away.- 
-Oh, y/n, I'm sorry.- Jessica whispered -Hobie bring her to your universe. Now.- she said again, with a serious tone. 
-Alright then.- he responded. 
-Don't you dare.- y/n told him, with the most threatening tone she had, which wasn't much but she had tried.
Hobie, without hesitation, picked her up and threw her over his shoulder, before opening a portal and walking in, as y/n tried to resist with all her might. 
-I'm sorry, y/n, really.- Hobie said, after a deep breath. 
Squirming and punching Spider-Punk in the back, she found herself in his apartment, in his universe. 
-Please, let me go back, they could need some help.- she prayed him, as tears filled her eyes and her voice cracked. 
-I'm sorry, I really am. But I can't.- he replied with a hurt look in his eyes, as he looked at her.
-My city...my home...- she whispered, before breaking into tears. 
Since Hobie couldn't see y/n like this, he slowly got closer to her and hugged her.
She hid her face in the crook of his neck, as he stroked her back, trying to give her a bit of comfort.
