---Jennie POV
I’m super excited to see Lisa today. I want to spend time with her before I leave for university. But my mood immediately sours when I see Soo Hee standing in front of Lisa’s door, holding a paper bag. My excitement turns to rage when Lisa opens the door and smiles at her. That smile.
I was ready to march over and confront her when Lisa cut me off with a look.
And now here we are, sitting at Lisa’s dining table, eating the food we both brought for her. This bitch, Soo Hee, is making my blood boil with her little attempts to feed Lisa. As if she could cook anything remotely close to what I can. I bet she bought the food she brought.
Soo Hee was about to place more food on Lisa’s plate when I muttered under my breath:
“Bitch.”
Soo Hee froze and turned toward me. “Sorry? What did you just say?”
Is she deaf? Fine. I’ll say it again.
“Are you deaf? I said... B-I-T-C-H. You’re a bitch.” I smirked at her.
“Jennie, stop. Please,” Lisa pleaded, looking at me with her big, worried eyes.
But I’ve had enough. I can’t stand seeing Soo Hee near my Lisa anymore.
Soo Hee, clearly offended, grabbed a glass of water and poured it over me. Lisa’s jaw dropped in shock.
“I’m being fair, Jennie. I like Lisa, and I’m courting her in my own way. Unlike you, trying to intimidate me so I’ll back off. Why don’t we settle this fairly? The last woman standing wins,” Soo Hee said with a sarcastic edge to her voice.
I lunged forward, ready to pull her hair, but Lisa stepped between us.
“Jennie, please!” Lisa pleaded again, trying to calm me down.
I looked at Lisa for a moment, but my anger got the better of me. I grabbed Soo Hee’s hair and slammed her into the kitchen counter. She retaliated, grabbing a fistful of my hair. We were both pulling at each other like crazy when Soo Hee raised her hand, ready to slap me, but Lisa stopped her.
“I said STOP!” Lisa’s voice echoed through the room, startling both of us.
Lisa stood between us, her face serious and disappointed. “Can you both please stop?” she asked weakly.
I felt a pang of guilt seeing the look on her face.
“I’m sorry, Lili,” I said, my voice trembling. “I just can’t control my jealousy anymore. I want you to be mine. I don’t want to lose you.” Tears began to fall uncontrollably, and Lisa looked shocked to see me cry.
“Please, Lili. Be mine,” I pleaded, my voice breaking.
Lisa wiped my tears and opened her mouth to respond, but Soo Hee cut in.
“What about me, Lisa? What about that night we spent together?” Soo Hee said, glaring at me.
My fist clenched at the mention of their night together. I wanted to slap her so badly, but Lisa spoke first.
“We already talked about that, Soo. It was just one night,” Lisa said firmly.
Hearing this made my heart ache, but then Lisa turned to me and said, “I love Jennie.”
Her words instantly turned my sadness into joy. She still loves me. The fear and insecurities I’d been holding onto melted away.
“I’m sorry, Soo,” Lisa continued. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. You make me smile, but Jennie makes me happy.”
“But Lisa, I’m different. Jennie bullied you, tortured you. I’ve only ever been good to you. And now you’re saying you still love her?” Soo Hee said desperately.
I flinched at her words, remembering everything I’d done to Lisa in the past. I don’t deserve her—that’s why I’m doing everything I can to be worthy of her now.
“I’ve changed for Lisa, and I’ll keep changing to prove I’m worthy of her,” I said, looking into Lisa’s eyes.
“Tsk. You’ll never be worthy, Jennie. All you do is hurt people. You always want to compete—” Soo Hee started, but I cut her off.
“I’m not competing with you, Soo Hee. I’m fighting. Fighting for Lisa.” I softened my tone and added, “I know I’ve hurt you, but please… just not with Lisa.”
I knew I was pleading. I was begging Soo Hee to give up. She’d beaten me before—like when she took the queen bee title from me in secondary school. But Lisa? Losing Lisa wasn’t an option.
“Wait… did you just plead?” Soo Hee said mockingly. “I never thought I’d see the day when Jennie Kim lowered her pride.”
“Soo Hee, stop,” Lisa said weakly. “Can you both just go home?”

Jisoo POV
“Hurry up, babe! We’re going to be late!” Rosé shouted as she stomped out of my apartment.
Yep, you heard that right—babe. She’s my girlfriend now. I finally got her sweet “yes” last week, even though the whole university already thought we were dating after the whole Lisa incident.
But let me tell you, being official hasn’t made my life easier. We’ve already fought twice in the past 24 hours. And to top it off, she’s getting more brutal by the day. I always thought she’d be the sweet type, but nope. Turns out her love language is violence.
“Ahhh!” I yelped as she smacked the back of my head.
“You’ll get more than that if we’re late again,” she said, showing off her tiny fist.
I stayed silent because, well, girls are always right. Oops—forgot I’m a girl too. Hehe.
“Chicken,” she muttered loud enough for the nearby students to hear.
“Ouch!” I retaliated with a light smack to her head. “Can you please stop calling me that?”
Rosé just laughed, ignoring me as we entered campus.
“Good morning, guys!” IU greeted us as we all headed to our respective classes.
Rosé hugged IU, chatting about something girly, while I followed behind with Seulgi. We were heading to our first class together when Seulgi suddenly spoke up.
“Let’s visit the dork later.”
“Sure, but let me tell—”
“No! Let’s go without the girls,” she interrupted.
I sighed. “Fine.”
