"The barian assimilation is proceeding without a hitch," he told Vector.
"But we still have to find the numeron code. The power of that card is critical to our plan" Vector informed him.
It made the deity chuckle on the inside. He already had a good guess on where the Numeron code would be. He could of course be wrong, but even if that was the case, he had several backup plans. The Numeron code would be his. That he was certain of. Not that he was going to tell Vector this.
"True, but once the Astral world is destroyed there will exist no one strong enough to challenge me" Don Thousand claimed. He chuckled darkly.
"If you say so" Vector mused. His eyes drafted to the crystal again. "But what about my sister? What about Zaira? Weren't we supposed to get her by now?".
The crystal in front of them shifted and showed them a picture of Zaira Wroom sitting at the riverbed. It pleased the deity quite a bit. Even with her memories detained, she is still drawn to the bright colors in those waters. Just as she was at Baria Sea. It does not surprise me. She is unruly. She is drawn to the god who gave her life. He chuckled again. Zaira Wroom would join them soon. He would make sure of that. Though the chaos god found it hilarious that Vector had not put two and two together. But then again when it came to his beloved sister Vector could be so oblivious.
"Do not fret Vector. Your sister will join us soon enough. You have my word".

Around the same time.
Underneath the water's surface on Earth was a submarine roaming around. In it was the two Arclight brothers, along with Yuma's friends, Cathy, Flip, Bronk, and Caswell. They were watching a recent video newscast on the ship's monitor. It was shown how people had suddenly gone crazy and were rampaging the city in utter chaos. It was one of the reasons the crew had gone into hiding in the submarine. Though it couldn't hurt to catch up on what was happening in the world.
"We have breaking news. People around the world are losing their minds," a newscaster uttered scared. Pictures were shown people trying to rob places or just becoming very violent.
"Welcome to freak Opolais," Bronk commented.
"Yeah, if this keeps up the whole planet could fall into chaos," Trey muttered. He was at the steering wheel of the submarine. "I hope Grace is okay out there. She refused to leave the city without Zaira".
"She will be fine. Grace has the power of the crest to protect her" Quattro reminded him. "The minute she finds Zaira or her boyfriend Reginald, I know she will contact us, so don't worry". Trey nodded, but he couldn't help but worry.
"It is spreading everywhere. Like some kind of infection," Caswell then commented.
"What could be causing it?" Cathy asked.
"All this chaos is the result of people picking up Number cards" Trey explained.
"Number cards?" Bronk and company uttered in unison.
"See for yourself," Trey replied, showing them another feed where people were picking up Number cards. "How the people got them is a mystery, but based on my estimate, there is a card for every person on Earth...".
"Are you sure you didn't miscount?" Caswell uttered fearfully.
"Whoever is behind this..." Quattro began, and Trey finished "... Are experts in mind control". It made Quattro his in annoyance.
