INSEPARABLE

Chapter 29

I look at Apollo again and he is still staring at me. Now, I could say he is like other people as well. I can't see in his eyes all his suffering instead it was covered with emptiness. I didn't know dogs can pretend like how people do and hide the truth.

" But, is he okay now with his new owner? I mean he is in the right hand now." I gently asked.

I hate people who can't love dogs the way dogs love them. I am a good fur mom to Kai and Kuma but I can't disagree that humans don't deserve dogs. Humans don't deserve the love they have to give.

(A/N: If you see dogs in the street and you don't care about them, don't hurt them just leave them instead)

" Yes, Miss Kim. Apollo is in the right hand now and we are sure about it. He's safe now," Sophia answered which made me sigh in relief.

" I'm glad to know that. I can feel he's a sweet and gentle dog" I muttered while looking at Apollo. I show my gummy smile at him. He moved for the first time but only to fix his position and he is now facing me compared to earlier his body is facing on the other side but his head is facing me. I softly chuckled. I saw how he tilted his head still staring at me, cute.

" I think he sees something in you, Miss Kim. Apollo never stares at anyone here" Sophia said which made me turn my head and face her.

" He never stares at anyone here?" I questioned in disbelief.

She nodded, " Yes, Miss Kim. He never stares at anyone here. Sometimes the other caretakers here are jokingly calling him a cold guy because of his cold treatment to everyone here. Although, he is a very polite and obedient dog. Apollo is such an observant dog despite not watching his surroundings but we are sure he is observing through his other senses except his eyes," Sophia muttered.

" Wow, he is such a cool dog," I uttered in admiration.

" He is Miss Kim," Sophia said and we smiled at him.

My eyes went wide when I saw Kuma sprinting towards Apollo. I unconsciously stood up and was about to call Kuma but instead, I facepalm. He hardly bumped into Apollo but luckily Apollo didn't flinch. He didn't even move or shake a bit because of the impact of the bump while Kuma bounced away.

I think Apollo didn't mind what happened because he was still staring at me.

" KUMAYA!" I loudly called my son. Kuma is a hyper dog but a clumsy one.

I jogged towards them and Kuma met me halfway. Kuma looks up at me, smiles innocently and extremely wags his tail like he just didn't bump into a giant Apollo seconds ago.

I picked him up, " Let's go to Apollo and you will apologize for bumping into him," I said.

Sophia is following us.

I looked at Sophia and asked, " Is it fine if I walk closer to him? I just want this cutie to apologize for what he had done"

" Of course Miss Kim since he's still staring at you, maybe he wants to be your friend," Sophia said and I happily nodded.

I just slowly walked towards him and gladly he stayed in his position still staring at me.

Kuma tried to bark, " Shhh, just once Kuma please, behave," I said under my breath.

Only a few steps away from Apollo I sat down, " Hi there handsome" I said and I felt so much happiness when he wagged his tail.

" I can say he likes you, Miss Kim," Sophia muttered, standing behind me.

I took one of Kuma's paws and waved to him, " Hi Apollo! I just want to apologize for bumping you earlier," I said imitating a child's voice since I treat Kuma as a child. Well, he's only 4 years old.
