"Welcome to our humble home!" Avery spread his arms out wide as we stepped through his apartment doorway.
"Yeah, yeah. It's a fire waiting to happen." I mumbled as I looked around. Clothes were scattered all around, old food boxes piled on top of them. On the gray walls were posters of some pretty sweet bands and I almost felt ashamed for liking the same music as them. Key word; almost. It's impossible to hate some of these amazing bands.
"Procrastination at it's best, baby." He said, referring to the monthly checks he gets from the landlord. "Put her in the room."
"Taking orders again." I taunted Kyle once more. "If it's not from some Clan leader it's from your brother. Fucking hell, do you not have a mind of your own?"
He didn't answer just threw me on the bed and gave me a punch in the stomach, causing me to groan in pain. "That is me going against orders, bitch."
I coughed up blood and spat it in his face. "And this is me, not giving a fuck."
He smacked my cheek, sending my head snapping to the side. "Want to say anything else?"
"Nope, but I would like to do something," I turned to face him, smiling past the pain.
"And what's that?" He smirked.
"This." I hit him in the same place as I did on Jesse this morning, hearing a satisfying crack as his jaw broke. He cried out and went to hit me again, but I had the upper hand and got a kick into his balls and he crouched over, falling to the ground howling in pain.
"You fucking idiot!" Avery cursed as the door of the room bounced off the wall with the amount of force he had pushed it open with. His eyes met mine. "I knew I should have taken Kendall."
"I hate you!" I shouted, lunging at him. I've had enough of his shit. Had enough of his betrayal. That is why I didn't have to think twice before I was straddling him on the floor, hitting the first pressure point I could get to and knocking him out cold.
"You really shouldn't have done that," a gruff, but surprisingly female voice said in front of me, then I heard the sound of a gun being cocked.
"Do you know who I am?" I asked, meeting the cold green eyes of the black haired woman.
"Of course I do," she said angrily, like she was offended that I questioned her knowledge of me.
"Really? If you did, you wouldn't be holding a gun to my head." I pointed out.
She growled. "Then what are you doing in my house?"
"Hmm, I don't know, I'd never be a prostitute for these fucks-"
Kyle groaned from behind me, and I knew my playing time was up. "She's the girl, Shelly."
Shelly retracted her arm at that. "This Multi girl, right? The one with many powers."
"Yes." A hand was placed on my shoulder and I mentally rolled my eyes, a hand is not gonna stop me. Kyle tightened his grip. "Why isn't my jaw healed yet?"
"Because I broke it dumbass. And I'm not fixing it." I snapped in irritation.
"Shelly, could you?" Kyle asked, looking like a lovestruck teenager.
I laughed. "You guys are on a roll today aren't you? Now I know all four of your powers."
"She's right, Kyle." Shelly slapped him across the face. "You are dumbass."
"Ow!" Kyle held his jaw in pain. "That's not helping!"
"Good! I wasn't..." I ignored the rest of their sentence, thinking of a way to get the fuck out of here.
