"I'd rather drift into oblivion with you, descending into a profound slumber, never to wake again, than remain in wakefulness while you slumber eternally."

"What's all the fuss? Did you miss me," I teased, breaking the chilling atmosphere that weighed on me like an opulent burden.
We ventured through the golden fields of swaying corn, entering the forest.
Kang Yo Han's grasp was still on my wrist, his nails leaving faint imprints on my skin. I observed his clenched jaw, his teeth grinding with impatience, and the restless energy coursing through him."Keep your mouth shut and stop babbling!" he rebuked sharply, tugging at my arm between his fingers.
Curiosity burned within me, compelling me to persist. "I simply wish to know where you're leading me, Yo Han," I insisted, purposefully unsettling him."Will you please be silent?" He briefly turned, casting a glare full of resentment and something deeper into my direction.
With a dismissive roll of my eyes, I feigned indifference, although a twinge of pain nestled in my chest. I knew all too well, who was the target of his anger.
Me.
"Are you taking me to our love nest? Little brother?"I urged him again, as if I had not seen his burning eyes, ablaze with frustration and pain.
"I said shut up!" he snapped, releasing me and issuing a stern warning, his voice devoid of its usual calmness.
"What did I say?" I remarked, raising my hands in surrender.
He sighed in frustration, running his hands through his soft hair.
And I took the opportunity to silently move closer, slipping a finger into the pocket of his jeans, then pulling him against me, against my chest.
Against my skin In search of warmth, his warmth.
His unmistakable scent. A mixture of vanilla from his hair and the smell of dirt on his clothes.Kang Yo Han momentarily froze, but then forcefully pushed me away.
"What the hell are you doing?" he growled, his gaze murderous.
"I was merely attempting to hug you..." I murmured, a tugged smile forming at one corner of my mouth."Stop it! Stop toying with me, Isaac!"
I snorted in irritation, observing his footsteps backing away, as if he was trying to draw a boundary line between us. A vital space I could not trespass.
"I can still touch you if I want, you know? There's no point in distancing yourself," I replied sarcastically.
"Didn't you say you were here to say goodbye?Just say what you have to say!"
Once again, I rolled my eyes, leaning my shoulder against the sturdy trunk of a nearby tree. Kang Yo Han had brought us to a verdant hill, falling gently into the valley, adorned with towering trees that seemed to reach for the clouds and touch the sky.
-Well.... Father disappeared- I began.
After my rant with him, last night, he had not returned as usual, not that I enjoyed seeing him or his company, but at least I felt less alone when he was around.
Kang Yo Han, shrugged his shoulders indifferently."He always disappears and appears, where's the problem?"
"Not this time, something tells me we won't see him, for a long time"
Kang Yo Han fixed his gaze on the growing plants and the playful squirrels in a hollow tree, offering no response to my statement.
"So, what does our father have to do with you?" he asked, his voice detached yet uncertainty veiling his strong eyes.
