"It's okay honey, just breathe! Come on just like we practiced, Savorti!"
"IT'S NOT LIKE IT'LL MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE FOR YOU! YOU'RE NOT THE ONE GIVING BIRTH RIGHT NOW, WILLIAM!"
Well that was a jump in what was supposed to be a peaceful day of reminiscence.
Two loving souls that were expecting child, came to rest at an oasis called the Kaara Kaara bizarre, before heading out farther into the hot and harsh climate known as the Gerudo Dessert. This dessert just so happened to be the hometown of Savorti Bari, wife of a Hylian man named William Bari.
Unfortunately, now there was a bit of a hiccup.
"Mrs. Bari please stay calm, we have to do the birth here because your contractions are too limiting of your movement to go any further into Gerudo Town." The Innkeeper advised, trying to keep the Gerudo in her bed.
"Ma'am, do you even know what you're doing?" Mr. Bari grumbled at the tall woman.
"Mr. Bari would you like for your wife to be in the hands of a random stranger, or a woman that has lived her entire life around pregnant ones?" She responded with a click of her tongue.
"Sorry you're right, I'm just stressed out right now..." The Hylian male sighed. "My wife just wanted to visit her homeland before giving birth, I guess the baby could feel how close we were getting to her Gerudo sisters."
"That is a nice thought, keep those up, and maybe this will go smoothly," The Innkeeper encouraged.
"Another nice thought-hahahahaAAAAAAAHHH!"
"Savorti!" Mr. Bari wailed out for his wife as he fell down on one knee next to her bedside, holding her hand.
"Her water has broken!" The Innkeeper announced as she began running around the Inn for supplies. "This is it! We just need to stay calm!"
The birthing process went on for almost eight hours. The poor mother nearly passing out half of the time, but the Gerudo women were stronger than most, and had prepared their entire life for this very moment. She pushed through, and now was the proud mother of a beautiful baby gir-
The Inn Keeper stopped in her tracks as she looked at the wailing baby, her eyes shaking from disbelief.
"Is there something wrong?" Savorti pouted, seeing her fellow Gerudo's expression. "Is there something wrong with my baby?!"
"No! No! It's just that..." She quickly ran over to Mr. Bari and started whispering in his ear, slowly handing him his now bundled baby as his eyes widened from what he was being told. Eventually the Innkeeper stepped back with a smile and made her way outside to give the couple privacy. "Congratulations on your child Mr. and Mrs. Bari." She bowed in respect before exiting behind the curtain.
