Mutant Mayhem: Reader Insert

Inside their room, each of the turtles slept in their respective spots while Y/N slept inside a makeshift tent next to Donnie, all of it held up by tape and blankets supported by wooden supports. Y/N laid there, resting on their backpack as a pillow while listening to sad but calming music.

Y/N tends to reflect on their life during moments like these: "I'll never fit in with my kind... I'm just not normal; I'm just some crappy delinquent if anything. Every time I go out in public, I see people stare at me, and they think I'm a freak." Y/N thinks that years of countless overthinking have made them very insightful.

While in their thoughts, Mikey throws their pillow case at their faces. Mikey," Y/N says, removing his earbuds. "Didn't you hear what I was saying?" He asks, and Y/N just shook their heads while lying back down, "I was just wondering, if you could actually enroll in high school, what would you do?" He asks.

Y/N eyes glance at Mikey and look back at the brick ceiling. "Hm?" Y/N mumbles while shrugging their shoulders, "Oh, I know, they're going to play the silent game with the quiet kids." Donnie teases, Mikey and Raph chuckle at the joke, "Anyways, there's gotta be something. Ooh, you're good at art! Maybe you could be an artist!" Mikey suggests.

Y/N simply shrugs and lays on the side of their bodies. "That works," Y/N mumble, while going back to their thoughts. Yea, who knows, maybe they could draw Donnie one of his cartoon girlfriends?" Raph teases. "At least I'll have more rizz than Leo," Donnie retorts. Leo just sighs from this whole conversation. Look guys, it's never going to happen, so let's not think about it alright," he says.

The whole group turns off their device and eventually drifts off to sleep. Y/N has still laid there awake for a few minutes now. "If only I was like them," they thought while looking at how the turtles are sleeping comfortably. Y/am just sighs and goes back to using their device till they get tired.

One Month Later...

Raph gets into position and prepares himself with Leo's Blade in hand: "Lob It Up! Lob it up! Come on!" Raph exclaimed. Donnie points his phone towards Mikey, who's carrying a watermelon. "Stand still," he says. After that, he launches the watermelon into the air, and Raph slices the melon with all his might.

"Whoooaaa!" Donnie gasped at the cool display. Y/N looks up from where they were laying and sees the mess the guys had just made. They sigh and go back to drawing. They are currently in the process of drawing a beautiful grass field in great detail. Art has always been a calming way to pass time for them.

Raph performs a kip up off the ground and tosses Leo his sword back. "Come On Guys, We Just Got ungrounded; let's go home," Leo asks anxiously. It was hard enough being stuck in sewers for one month, but the guys not learning anything from it made him scared. Yo, Leo, can I ask you something?" Raph asks, "What?" Leo groans.

"Is it so weird to have your head so far up dad's ass?" Raph asks jokingly, "Does it smell weird up there?" Mikey asks, continuing on the joke. "I bet it smells like cheese and Doritos up there," Donnie says, and everyone starts laughing. Y/N overheard this and couldn't help but chuckle a little. Leo plants himself on the ledge as he is done with this.

Hahah, very funny," Leo says sarcastically. "Sorry, We Can't Hear You Up There!" Donnie snickers, Mikey looks behind him at Leo, pushing his cheeks together. "Your Voice is muffled through the cheek," Mikey jokes, and Leo rolls his eyes in irritation. "Try using that Batman voice again!" Raph exclaimed, and he's had enough of this. Leo stands up and moves to where Y/N was lying.

"Hey Y/N" Leo sighs while sitting next to them, and Y/N looks up and nods their heads. "I just can't with those guys, I really can't," Leo says in frustration. "Yeah, they're something alright." Y/N mumbled; they usually let him rant about whatever is on his mind. "It's Like They're The Ones With Their Heads Up Their Asses, Like We Just Got ungrounded," Leo exclaimed.
