"I could hold your hand when you cry
And learn to walk away when I'm
Invading all of your space
I know that you need your space sometimes
I wanna be your best friend
Stickin it out with you 'till the end
I wanna know all of your dreams, and
If you have any dreams that involve me"

Naruto sang for himself and Kurama again. It had become a routine for them. Kurama would come out as a teeny little fox and lay on Naruto's shoulder as he'd sing. It was beautiful, they spent their nights like this, to bring them some solace.

The tiny Kurama was purring on Naruto as he stopped singing, and put the guitar down. He sighed, the small wind from Kurama swiftly swinging his tails back and forth as he slept made him chuckle.

"Hey Naruto." Hinata said as she sat on the rooftop with Naruto.

"Hey yourself."

"You're always up here," she said with a smile.

"I am," he chuckled, "Sorry about that."

"Nah it's okay. You spend the entire day with me, getting away and having space is nice." She looked at him, "But it gets lonely some nights," she bumped his free shoulder with her arm.
"Joking, of course." She giggled.

"The moons out." Naruto pointed out, he looked to his side and saw that somehow the little fox had turned on his back and his tummy was all out, legs spread out.
"How the hell does he not fall?", Naruto asked himself as he gently picked Kurama up and laid the tiny fox on his lap.

"He's cute."

"If you want to call a millennia old chakra spirit in the form of a sassy ass fox cute, then yeah." Naruto joked as Kurama grabbed hold of his thumb and hugged it as he slept.

"Yeah, he's cute." Naruto admitted with a smile.

Hinata laughed some more, laying back on the rooftop, hands on her stomach as she looked at the night sky.

"I wonder what constellation is out." She mused with a smile.

"Hercules." *

Hinata sighed. She sat up and looked at Naruto. A sad expression placed on her face. "I got a message today."

"Yeah?"

"My father needs me back at the clan. It's kind of urgent... and seeing as how nothing major has gone on in the months of us being here, the Hokage said I can come home..."

"Ah."

"But he'll be sending a replacement that should be coming by tomorrow morning."

Naruto nodded, a bit sad that he wouldn't be able to hang around her anymore but something told him it was for the best.
"Any idea who?", he asked.

"None, sorry." She said.

"I'll miss you."

She blushed, and smiled, "I'll miss you too." She gave him a kiss on the cheek but panicked and apologized.
"Shit," a rare occurrence of her cursing, "Sorry."

"It's okay," Naruto said with a small blush. "For good luck?"

Hinata chuckled, "Yeah. For good luck." She smiled.
She looked down, eyebrows shaking as she tried to form words.

"Something wrong?", Naruto asked quietly.

Hinata took a deep breath, "Why are you still in love with her?"

Her sudden question took him by surprise, he let out a nervous chuckle and scratched the back of his head, "Hinata... I don't think-"

"I can see it you know?", she sighed, "Sorry. I don't mean to pry I'm just curious... just why?"
