"Ohh..but.."

"Stop worrying, Yoongi. I told you I had it covered." He kept his hands on Yoongi's shoulder and smiled at him.
"Have a good day, Jungkook ssi." He said this before walking away.

Yoongi felt a heaviness in his heart. Taehyung was clearly keeping something in mind; he had never behaved this distant since he first met him; even if it was for simply irritating him, Taehyung always stayed close to him, and never in his life had he done something for himself, and this overnight change in him concerned Yoongi.

He knew he had to talk to the younger and clear things up.

"Baby, finish your breakfast. Hyung will come now; I have to talk something about work with him."
Yoongi left before Jungkook could say anything back.

"Tae," Yoongi called, opening the door to his room slowly.
Taehyung was about to go into the shower and was undressing. He gave a quick glance to Yoongi and took off his shirt.
"Why are you here? Your brother might get doubtful." Taehyung said while wiping some sweat from his body with his shirt.

Yoongi shook his head. "Ignore it. What is it? Why are you behaving weirdly? You know I don't like beating around the bush. If you have to say something, please do say it."
Taehyung completely ignored him and continued undressing.

Yoongi looked away when he pulled down his shorts. Taehyung scoffed at his reaction. But he didn't say anything back.

Yoongi was getting impatient with the silent treatment he was receiving.
"Tae, is this about last night? It was just the truth. You and I both knew it. I didn't say anything wrong, did I?"

He heard Taehyung sighing loudly: "You can look at me; there is nothing you haven't seen before. Anyway, Hyung! I know!! I'm not angry. I'm just doing what you asked me to do, and yes, I too think I was getting attached to you a bit too much. I forgot that you have a life outside of this, family, responsibilities, and likes and dislikes of your own. And I have mine too. Maybe it's time we both explored it. I have a career to build, and you have a life to take care of. I'm not putting an end to everything, but I think you were right on certain things."

Yoongi felt his heart feel heavy, but he knew he was the one who initiated the conversation. He nodded, licking his lips. "Yes!! That's what I mean. You will eventually find someone who will fit into your life perfectly, and I don't want to be the one causing trouble then. So I just cleared some things up."

Taehyung nodded without much expression.

"I'm going into the shower; I'm getting late," Tae said and rushed to the bathroom. He closed the door and leaned on it with a deep sigh.

Yoongi stared at the closed door for a while before he slowly got out of the room.

Later that night

Taehyung was leaving in a hurry to go to Namjoon and Hoseok's home for dinner. He was supposed to drive with them, but he was late, and now Namjoon was not picking up his phone.

When he reached the company parking area, he saw his brother standing there smoking and texting someone.

He looked around and didn't see Hoseok or Joon's car there.

"Heyy, Jin Hyung! What are you doing here? Did you see Joon Hyung?"

Jin smiled and threw the half-burnt cigarette away and kept his phone back in his pocket. "You were late; he already went home. I will drive you. Come," he said, pointing towards his car.

"Why?" Taehyung frowned

Jin took a deep breath, knowing very well that his brother was not going to like his answer: " I'm joining too. I haven't seen Jimin in a while." He said
