Yoongi's footsteps echoed in the hallway as he approached the apartment with a heavy heart . Once that place used to fill him with happiness and joy..but today was different.All he wanted to do was run away from all the hurt and pain and never ever look back..but he knew that he  cant do that to Taehyung even if he want to. Taehyung deserves to know his heart and reasons for doing this.

Standing at the door, he hesitated, aware that no matter how much courage he built up inside,facing Taehyung would still be challenging. His driver had informed him that Taehyung was home after the show taping. So he knew he is going to get bombarded with questions from Taehyung as soon as he goes in.

Yoongi had spent a considerable amount of time planning how to talk to Taehyung. Even after thinking and contemplating he couldn't find an easy way to do it. His heart felt like it was breaking into a million pieces. The pain he held inside heart was unimaginable..it was like he was carrying a weight inside which was crushing him little by little as time passes. Seeking solace, he even called Jungkook, but the emotional turmoil persisted. After crying alone for hours, he understood that he needed to appear strong in front of Taehyung for things to go smoothly. He knew if this was tough on him Taehyung's case will be far more worse

He took a deep breath and mustered up the courage before he slowly opened his door .The apartment greeted him with the aroma of cooking food and the clatter of plates. Surprised, Yoongi found Taehyung in the kitchen, covered in flour and sauces, squinting at his phone where some kind of cooking video was playing . It was a known fact that Taehyung had no knowledge of in cooking the most he could do was make ramen and he burned even that most times.

"What are you doing, baby?" Yoongi asked, leaning against the door frame.

Taehyung quickly turned around with a wide grin, pointing proudly at the messy countertop. "Hyung!! Look!! I'm cooking."

Intrigued, Yoongi walked forward to join him" Are you?!"

Taehyung smiled awkwardly seeing the way Yoongi was eyeing the mess he made " Hyung!! I will cleanup later ..I promise! But this meal will blow your mind for sure , trust me!." He said proudly

"Why go through all this trouble? We could have ordered. You need to rest more," Yoongi asked

Taehyung shook his head "No,..today..I'm happy. I wanted to do something special for you" Taehyung replied.

Yoongi raised his eyebrows in confusion " Did you win the game show?"

Taehyung chuckled " No!! I flunked it"

Yoongi smiled and ruffled hus hair lovingly.

Taheyung quickly grabbed Yoongi's hands and kissed it "I know you were busy the entire day ..you didn't even pick up my calls..was it because you were going through the new contract ? I hope dad gave you a proper offer letter and and everything!" He asked .

Yoongi gulped down not knowing how to begin what he wanted to say ..but Taehyung didn't wait for his answer and continued explaining his actions " anyways...Do you know what it means to have you as my manager? We'll be together all the time..you know how important it is considering my busy schedule..this way we won't miss each other ever..It's an occasion to celebrate for sure." He said happily

"But," Taehyung continued, moving strands of hair from Yoongi's face, "I want to celebrate us being together..not like this " he pointed at the stove "but like how normal couples do. I'll take you on a date—i m such a lame boyfriend right!! I have such a hot and incredible boyfriend and i never took you out on a proper date..i know ypu are afraid that someone will see....soo... After my promotion schedule, let's go on a trip together...somewhere far far away..somewhere people won't recognise us..What do you say?" He asked
