( back at Y/n's cult)
(Fear POV)
It has been a bit since our leader had gone on her crusade
She didn't tell anyone this but she mentioned what she saw in Darkwood how there are barely anything around and how everything was either broken or taken.
She trusted me with this information because I was her first follower and therefore was the best person to lead the cult when she was away. I was probably her best option anyway.
She even gave me a tiny red eye pin.
The pin is for letting others know that you are in charge and she made the red eye pin for another reason, the pin holds a bit of her power so we could summon weapons to defend ourselves and the others if it is needed.
Some of the other followers walked up to me because they were really hungry.
A lot of things have happened since she left to go on her crusade. There was poop and throw up everywhere, three followers got sick and I needed to put them to bed the scare crow broke so birds are eating our plants, and five tents collapsed. Things were breaking faster than I could fix them. I couldn't even sleep because of all the things going wrong, and because I was catching spiders for us to eat.
The only lucky thing that had happened was that nobody had died yet but I wasn't sure how long that would stay the case.
Oh great leader please return safe.

( Red POV )
I have been waiting for so long for the leader to bring the flowers back I started getting impatient. At this point nobody believes in this cult anymore or this god that our leader is so adamant on worshipping. All I see is everyone tired and sad.
The leader hasn't really been a good leader. They would start doing sermon late at night when everyone is asleep, refuse many of our requests ( it's a wonder how I got them to agree to mine.), and I even heard rumours that they had been dissecting the corpse of dead followers at night, but those are just rumours, But at worst they would put innocent followers in the prison for no reason. I'm honestly thinking that our leader isn't as amazing as we thought.
I feel angry, betrayed, annoyed I was done with this my only goal now was to free the others from our leaders lies.
I grab some sticks and make a mini microphone as I start to protest yelling the truth to my fellow members.
"The leader has lied, he wants to control us and force us to do his budding!"
"We will stand for this no more!"

I know I haven't been posting and the reason for that is I actually needed some time to figure out what happens next in the story
So I got most of it figured out BUT I want to know what you guys think will happen next
And if I really like the idea I may add it in the main story or possibly a one-shot
