Vernon reached the dorms feeling worried because he and seungkwan haven't talked much since they were roomed together even tho they use to be close back in high school.
Vernon opened the door to their room very carefully to not disturb the other if he was asleep.
The room was pichted black only the light from a phone could be seen .
And unsteady breathing was Heard.
"Seungkwan"
As soon as Vernon said his name the phone was turned off immediately followed by complete silence.
"Kwan i know you are awake " vernon said getting closer to seungkwan's bed.
Still no sound was Heard. So Vernon turned on the lights .
"Im going to sit down beside you is that okay with you ?" Vernon said as he sat down on seungkwan's bed.
"Seungkwanie are you crying what happened?" Vernon asked softly .
Then he heard cries seungkwan couldn't hold it anymore and let all his tears go
Vernon immediately removed the blanket from seungkwan and laid down with him hugging him tightly.
Seungkwan cried on Vernon's chest letting all his pent up anger and feelings out.
"I don't get why I'm being so dramatic. It's not like he rejected me it's not like he is dating someone but just the thought of it . I couldn't handle it " seungkwan said between sobs
Vernon felt a ping in his chest but choose to ignore it as seungkwan was more important right now
Vernon softly patted his back telling him that everythings gonna be okay whispering sweet things to him.
Eventually seungkwan calmed down and tried to get up but Vernon's grip on him didn't let him he stopped trying and just laid down.
Vernon chuckled at that when he heard seungkwan's stomach grumble.
"You haven't eaten anything have you?" Vernon asked .
"Yes that's why i am trying to get up you idiot" seungkwan replaid as he attempted to get up again but failing miserably.
" Unhand me you foul creature" seungkwan yelled as he bit Vernon's arm which made the younger lossen his grip on him due to which he got up from bed leaving the sulky Vernon on the bed still holding his arm while complaining.
Seugkwan just laughed at that . While vernon was mesmerized he loved seeing the older be cheerful and happy.
"You brought food ? You wouldn't mind if i eat it right I'll pay for it" seungkwan said as he grabbed the packed food interrupting Vernon from his thoughts
"Um no you don't need to pay i just had some extra food left so i packed it" vernon said nervously scratching his nape as he was a bad lier .
But fortunately for him seungkwan didn't seem to care as he ate the food that previously belonged to Vernon.
After devouring the food he announced that he is going to freshen up.
As seungkwan went to the bathroom Vernon laid down on his bed recalling the previous events and smiling to himself.
He slapped himself.
Get a hold of yourself Vernon stop smiling like an idoit he thought.
To distract himself he took out his phone and opened their group chat as the notifications were piling in.
