Sunoo reluctantly made his way to his most hated language class, a subject he had chosen only for the credit it offered. French was proving to be a real challenge for him, and his lack of proficiency only added to his frustration.

As he walked towards the classroom, a familiar voice called out from behind him, "Morning Sunoo." Hope surged through Sunoo, and he turned around eagerly, only for his smile to fade when he saw who it was.

Sunghoon stood there, sporting bruises around his eyes that marred his usually handsome face.

Sunghoon managed a weak smile, his voice quieter than usual as he spoke, "You did it on purpose, didn't you?"

Sunoo looked at him, perplexed, unable to grasp the meaning behind Sunghoon's words. "On purpose?" he echoed.

"Sunoo, I was drunk that day. I don't even remember what happened, but you didn't tell Jake that I was drunk. You made it seem like I kissed you while I was sober," Sunghoon confessed.

Sunoo's heart skipped a beat, realizing that he had kept the truth from Jake. "But it doesn't change anything. You still forcibly kissed me!" he whispered, his voice filled with anger, and worry about anyone overhearing their conversation.

Getting closer to Sunoo, Sunghoon leaned in and said, "I'm sorry, Sunoo. I mistook you for Jake." With those words, he walked away, leaving Sunoo standing there, overwhelmed with conflicting emotions.

Unable to contain his frustration, Sunoo called out after Sunghoon, causing him to pause. "You thought I was Jake, yet you moaned my name while you kissed me!"

Sunghoon retraced his steps, covering Sunoo's mouth to prevent their conversation from being overheard. However, the curious gazes of some students had already locked onto them.

"Sunoo, I never did that," Sunghoon insisted, his smile fading into an expression of empathy when he saw Sunoo fighting back tears, but they streamed down his face uncontrollably. He remained silent, allowing his tears to fall onto Sunghoon's hand.

Sunghoon slowly released his hold on Sunoo's mouth, his anger morphing into understanding. "Please don't cry, Sunoo," he pleaded, gently wiping away the tears.

Pushing Sunghoon away, Sunoo's voice quivered with pain and confusion. "Why are you like this, Sunghoon? Why did you change? You act as if you don't know me, only to come back and leave me with mixed feelings. Just stay away from me and Jake. I don't want to see you, Sunghoon! Just go and die! I hate you so much!" Sunoo's voice echoed through the air as he walked away, leaving Sunghoon behind.

"Dad, I love someone else," Sunghoon uttered softly, his eyes bloodshot from incessant crying.

"Just do as I say. Jake is a good guy, and I've heard rumors that he has feelings for you too," his father replied, reclining in his office chair.

Sunghoon approached his father, his gaze fixed on his shoes, afraid to meet his father's eyes, fearing he will beat him up again.

"I love Sunoo, not Jake," Sunghoon mumbled under his breath.

"What?" his father asked, his voice demanding an answer.

Sunghoon shook his head, mustering the courage to speak, "I'll meet Jake tonight."

"Good, son. It's in the best interest of our company if the two of you start dating," his father asserted.

Sunghoon swallowed hard, feeling a lump form in his throat. Before he could break down in tears again, he wordlessly left his father's office.

Earlier that day, Sunghoon's crush, Sunoo, had asked him out during their final day of high school. Both of them had mutual feelings, and Sunghoon had been happy at the thought of being with Sunoo. However, their relationship had come crashing down within a mere 24 hours.

Sunghoon couldn't even imagine the pain Sunoo must have felt. Yet, he himself had been consumed by grief, shedding tears for days. He hated the way he had acted towards Sunoo. He hated himself for allowing his father to control him like a puppet, a foolish pawn in his father's game.

"Hello, Jakey," Ethan greeted with an exuberant smile, stepping out of the car. Jake stood by the campus gate, eagerly awaiting Ethan's arrival.

"Hi," Jake replied, returning the same warm smile to Ethan. Ethan opened the front passenger door, allowing Jake to take a seat before settling into the driver's seat himself.

"So," Ethan began, his gaze fixed on Jake.

The atmosphere inside the car was serene, a soft love song playing on the radio. Ethan's eyes remained locked onto Jake's. Only the heavens knew how long they stood in that moment. Ethan had a remarkable ability to restrain himself; were it me, I would have already kissed Jake on his adorable lips.

Jake, on the other hand, averted his gaze, his ears turning crimson as he blushed like an infatuated fool. "So...?" he stammered.

"Jakey, do you know how much I want to kiss you right now?" Ethan confessed, his eyes still fixed on Jake.

Jake swallowed hard, shaking his head while gripping the seatbelt tightly with both hands.

"You're so cute," Ethan chuckled, "I was just teasing," he added, with a mischievous laugh, diverting his gaze from Jake.

Jake turned to look at Ethan but quickly averted his eyes as their gazes met again.

"You want me to show you my company, right?" Ethan asked.

Jake glanced back at Ethan, "Yes, I heard not everyone can get into the company, so Sun- ... I mean, I wanted to see what it's like inside," he explained.

Heeseung smiled, "Well, too bad, Jakey. Only special people can enter."

Jake pouted, "Am I not special?" he asked straightforwardly, looking down at his fingers and fidgeting with them.

Ethan chuckled once more, "No, but you will be soon."

Jake felt a pang of sadness upon hearing Ethan's response. "Huh?" he questioned, his eyes meeting Ethan's once again.

"My boyfriend will be the only special person to me," Heeseung declared softly, his voice unwavering as he maintained eye contact.

"...Okay," Jake replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

Ethan chuckled affectionately, "You're so innocent, Jakey. I want to spend my every second with you."

Jake glanced out the window, his voice barely audible as he quietly said, "Nothing is stopping you from doing so..."

"Hmm, did you say something?" Ethan asked, starting the car and preparing to drive to the restaurant where they planned to have dinner.

Okay okay, just to clarify again. Sunghoon likes Sunoo but can't be with him because his dad wants him to be with Jake.

And whenever Jake breaks up with Sunghoon, his dad begs him up (sorry) and tells him to go back and apologize. So he has no choice but to get back with Jake again, but he hates it.  😭😭I hope you understood.
