It's been a couple of days since the incident with Daniel, and Yn has felt her happiness growing. Jungkook has started opening up more, engaging in small conversations and caring for her in unexpected ways. She's been getting to know him better each day, discovering sides of him she hadn't seen before. This morning, they sat together over coffee, a comfortable silence between them.
"Yn, we'll be going to Busan for a few days, maybe three or four," Jungkook said, breaking the silence.
"Oh? Why the sudden trip?" she asked, looking up at him.
"My cousin's getting married," he replied, to which Yn nodded. "Great! I'll get to see Mom too... I miss her," she said, stretching her arms with a big smile.
Jungkook chuckled softly. "What?" Yn asked, looking at him curiously.
"You're adorable," he said, reaching over to pat her head before he got up, leaving her slightly stunned. Yn's eyes widened at his sudden gesture, and as he left the room, she found herself smiling like a kid, touching her hair. "Oh my gosh! What is happening to me?" she muttered to herself, still grinning.
"Okay, okay, let's go pack, Yn!" she cheered, bouncing toward the bedroom.
Once in the room, she looked over at Jungkook. "When are we leaving?"
"Tomorrow," he replied, focused on his laptop screen.
"Tomorrow?!" she exclaimed, rushing over to the closet. "You should've told me sooner—I need to pack! Mr. Jeon, you can't just spring this on me last minute!" She scrunched her nose, crossing her arms with a little pout.
"Oh really?" he said, raising an eyebrow and closing his laptop. He took slow, purposeful steps toward her, a slight smirk forming on his lips. Yn felt her heart race as he approached, his unreadable expression making her nervous.
Jungkook stopped right in front of her, leaning down until he was inches from her face. He slipped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer. Her cheeks flushed a soft pink, and she bit her lower lip, feeling the tension rise.
"Don't worry, Mrs. Jeon," he murmured in a low voice. "I'll help you pack." His tone was smooth, making her gulp.
'Does he have to make it sound so... sexy?' she thought, taking a deep breath.
"I know I'm sexy," he replied with a playful glint in his eyes, clearly having read her expression.
Yn gasped, slightly flustered. "Did you just read my mind?"
"Oh, so you were really thinking that, huh?" he teased, raising an eyebrow.
"No! I mean... maybe..." She laughed, her cheeks warm with embarrassment.
"Alright, then," he said, standing back, "let's start packing, shall we?"
She returned his grin, then went to get her luggage. Bringing out two large suitcases, she set them down with a look of determination.
"Yn," Jungkook said, staring at the suitcases in disbelief. "We're going for three or four days, not a whole month."
She looked at him, slightly confused. "I know, but I need my essentials—makeup, jewelry, matching shoes—" She started counting on her fingers, but he held up his hand, laughing.
"Okay, okay, I get it. Let's start," he said, opening one of the suitcases.
As they packed, Jungkook held up a piece of her lingerie with a smirk. "Should I pack this, too?" he asked, clearly amused.
Yn turned to see what he was holding, her face instantly turning bright red. "Jungkook!" she squeaked, covering her face as he laughed.
"Such a pervert," she muttered, turning away so he wouldn't see her flustered expression.
Once the packing was done, they enjoyed a quiet dinner together. Later that evening, as Jungkook worked on his laptop, Yn sat beside him. She reached over to grab a pen, but as she leaned forward, her hair got tangled in one of his shirt buttons.
"Ouch!" she groaned softly, tugging at her hair.
"Yn," Jungkook said, turning to her, noticing just how close they were.
"Um, could you... untangle my hair?" she asked, her voice a little breathless from their proximity.
He nodded, carefully working to free her hair from the button. "Hold still, you're making it harder."
"Sorry, but it hurts a little," she winced.
Just then, Jimin arrived outside Jungkook's door with some documents. About to knock, he paused as he overheard the muffled conversation.
"Gently, Jungkook, it's paining!" Yn's voice was low, clearly uncomfortable.
"Yn, will you stop moving?" he responded, his tone a mix of frustration and concentration.
Jimin's eyes widened, a mischievous grin spreading across his face as he leaned closer to eavesdrop. The door suddenly swung open, and he stumbled forward, landing on the floor in front of them.
"Oh! Sorry, guys, didn't mean to interrupt anything," Jimin said, laughing nervously as he looked up at them.
"We weren't doing anything," Jungkook said casually, reaching down to help him up.
"What do you mean?" Yn asked, clearly confused, but then she realized what Jimin had assumed. Her eyes went wide with embarrassment.
"Jimin! My hair was just stuck in his button, that's all!" she explained quickly, before turning and hurrying out of the room, her face flushed. 'Ahhh, how embarrassing!' she thought, cringing at how the whole situation looked.
Back in the room, Jungkook and Jimin shared a laugh, both amused by Yn's flustered reaction. Jungkook shook his head, chuckling as he watched her retreating figure, realizing just how much she had started to mean to him.
