Is it Finally Our Time? {SLOW UPDATES}

I look at myself one more time before grabbing my car keys and walking out the door to go pick up Aaliyah. We were texting back and forth ealier and decided to go grab something to eat then go see a movie. The worst part about all of this is waiting for it to be time to leave. 

The girls left an hour before we did which was expected. Our coaches like to say practice will end at one time but it'll end at another. I anit ever seen anything like it. But this is the big leagues. You gotta do whatchu gotta do. 

Before driving off I send a quick text to Aaliyah letting her know that I was on the way,so she can be ready when I get there. I put on some polo G before putting my gear in drive and pulling off. 

whats intresting about this is,even though this could considered a date, i'm very nervous. I don't know either. Everytime I went on a date i wasn't nervous or internally freaking out. This time however I am. Maybe it's because we work together and I don't want anything to be akward between us. I'm not 100% sure. 

Once I pull up to her apartment i send her a text letting her know I was here. Not even a second later,she texted me back telling me "here I come." I hop out of my car and walk over to her side of the car. I hear a door close as i'm walking. Once I see her my heart skips a beat. She's wearing a black crop top with the matching skirt. This is my first time seeing her with her hair down and she looks amazing. 

"hey." She says softly playing with her fingers. I smile at her . She's so quiet and shy around alot of people and this is the same girl who talks to thousands of people on the interent. 

"hey" I say opening my arms. She smiles and wraps her arms around my waist. I feel her smile in my arm causing me to smile even more. Once we pull away, turn around and open her side of the door. 

"thank you." she says before getting in the car. 

"your welcome mama." I say before walking over to get in the car. Once i'm in,i noticed her blushing. 

"you good?" I ask her while putting my seatbelt on. She nods her head and looks out the window. I chuckle slightly before driving off. 

"you wanna play a song?" i ask her once we stop at a red light. She nods head. I reach in my back pocket and hand her my phone. "my password is 1470963" . I say before handing her my phone. She goes to apple music and clicks on my R&B playlist. She scrolls through the hours long playlist before clicking on a song.

I snap my head in her direction. 

"why didn't you tell me you could sing?" I ask her. She looks down and plays with her fingers. She shrugs her shoulders. 

"uh uh don't go shy on me now." I say causing her to blush. 

"i'm not shy." I raise an eyebrow at her. She mirrors my expression. 

I shake my head and laugh.

It's been so long since Ive been to the movies. With cheer practices and full time influencing I hadn't had the time to. Plus with the way my last relationship was fizzling out. I'm so excited and ready for a night out with Ja'marr. He's made my first few weeks as a Ben-gal very stress free.
