you bit your lower lip as you checked the name of your partner for the project in the list. after a bit of hassling, you found it : harry james potter. instinctively, you took a glance at him. he was sitting beside his usual group of friends which consisted of hermione granger and ron weasley. you were a little bit surprised at being paired with him, considering how your father wasn't ... mildly fond of him.
“potter” you made your way towards him with a faint smile. you could see the golden trio's curious glances.
“snape.”
“y/n,” you pushed your name, not wanting him to call you by your surname, “we are supposed to be partners for the herbology project.”
“partners?” you could see the shock in his green eyes. “i thought cho was going to be my partner.”
