"There go Tintin and Eleanor."
"Did you hear about the hauntings that Tintin and Eleanor debunked?"
"Tintin, Eleanor?! Can I get a quote from you for the Newspaper?"
You could never hear one of their names without the others'. Tintin and Eleanor wer...
Tintin pulled back and rested his forehead against mine. "I'm sorry, that was inappropriate of me--" "Shut up." I pulled him back into another kiss. He responded immediately, eventually moving both of his hands around me, picking me up, and spinning me around. I giggled against his lips making us both separate, laughing.
"I... love you, Eleanor."
"And I love you, Tintin."
"I love you guys, too." Haddock's sobbing voice rang out making Tintin and I turn to him. Haddock had tears running down his face. "That was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." He sobbed before diving in and hugging me and Tintin.
I looked at Tintin over Haddock's shoulder and both of us chuckled.
"Ah, it's a good day to be alive. Blooming love... the rising sun and it's light..." Haddock sighed, looking over the side of the ship.
"Sun... Light... Great snakes!" Tintin exclaimed. "What is it?" I asked him. He dug the scrolls from his pocket.
As if a lightbulb went off in his head, he read out the poem on the scrolls again. "'Three Brothers joyned. Three Unicorns in company sailing in the noonday Sunne will speak. For 'tis from the Light that Light will dawn. And then shines forth the Eagle's Cross.'"
I suddenly got what he meant. I encouraged him to try, pushing him into the sunlight. Tintin held up the scrolls to the light and lined them up, making all the random lines and symbols at the bottom come together.

"It took all three scrolls to form the numbers." I gasped in awe. "Latitude and longitude. That is it. That's the location of the treasure!" Haddock laughed.
We all began to cheer and Tintin tried to shake his hand but Haddock just hugged us both again, jumping around with us this time. "We've done it!" Tintin exclaimed as Snowy tipped excitedly.
-----
After leaving the dock, having decided to meet up with Haddock a few hours from now to start the journey, Tintin and I were headed home. We needed to change clothes desperately and have a shower. We raced back to the flat as quickly as we could. Upon entering our home, which was back in order thanks to the police department, I rushed to my bed and jumped on it. The laugh of Tintin at my doorway made me giggle.
Snowy jumped onto my bed and licked my face making me laugh, I missed this. Tintin laughed and walked over, sitting on the edge of my bed. I sat up and smiled at him, watching the sparkle in his eye.
"How do you feel about lunch at our favorite café afterward?" He asked.
"Like a date?" I teased him. "I wouldn't want it to be anything else." He smiled.
"Hmm. Have I told you how much I love you, Tintin?" I smiled, leaning over and leaving a soft kiss on his lips. Tintin stole another kiss after I pulled back. "I could get used to that." He smirked.
I chuckled before shoving him off my bed. "I'll pick out a suit for you and then get in the shower." I giggled. Anytime we would go out for lunch or to an event, I would pick out a suit for Tintin. He liked it when we matched... and now I know why. I chose his light brown suit and laid it out on his bed for him for when he got out of the shower.
I picked a yellow dress, my happiness making me choose bright colors, and laid it out for myself. I would always shower first because I took longer to get ready - while he would be showering, I would be doing my hair and makeup. The timing worked better for us that way.
Feeling the water on my skin and the smell of my shampoo and body wash was glorious - being able to rid myself of the grim and bad accidents from the week was refreshing. Sure, I dressed up for the Opera event but I wasn't clean clean - but today I could be. I quickly finished and got dressed before starting my hair and makeup while Tintin showered.
Just as I had finished, Tintin knocked on my door. "Come in." I answered. All I had left to do was put on my heels. He opened the door and I smiled. "You look so handsome!" I cooed, getting up and running my hands down the arms of his suit jacket.
"And your hair is brighter than I remember." I teased him. "That's because it's not dirty." He chuckled.
"Eleanor... you look exquisite." Tintin said, leaning in a kissing me gently. "Thank you." I blushed. "I feel beautiful." I told him.
I quickly put on my shoes and followed Tintin out of the apartment where I looped my arm in his and walked with him toward the car, which we were only using as we were meeting up with Haddock after. Snowy was following after us, happy as could be.
