Nayeon loved her wife, she did, but this was getting ridiculous. She was a grown woman for god's sake. Going out with friends wasn't that big of a deal as Jeongyeon was making it out to be.

"Jagiya, I love you, but you're starting to piss me off," Nayeon said unamused.

"Nayeon I just want you to be safe. That's all," Jeongyeon said.

"I am perfectly capable of going out to lunch with the girls. Why can't you understand that? Do you not trust me?"

"Of course I trust you!" Jeongyeon hurriedly exclaimed. "I've never not trusted you. But it's different now. What if something happens?"

"Yoo Jeongyeon, listen to me," Nayeon said firmly. She looked her wife right in the eye. "Nothing is going to happen. You're worrying yourself to death and driving me crazy with this whole protective attitude of yours."

Nayeon sighed. She walked to where her wife was standing and grabbed her hands.

"You can't control everything. I know you're scared, but everything will be alright. Will you keep trusting me?"

Jeongyeon nodded then leaned forward until their foreheads touched.

"I'm sorry. I know I must be driving you crazy, but I can't help but worry. That dream really scared me," Jeongyeon said softly.

"It was just a dream Jeongyeon. That's not going to happen. You won't lose me."

Nayeon pulled their conjoined hands towards her body and rested them against her stomach.

"You won't lose us."

Nayeon was almost four months pregnant now. After a year of fertility treatments and IVF procedures, they were able to conceive. It was a dream come true for the couple.

Jeongyeon had baby proofed their home immediately. She pampered Nayeon and treated her like a queen, sometimes in excess, but Nayeon had always loved the attention so she soaked it up.

Then a few weeks ago, Jeongyeon had had a nightmare. She never told Nayeon exactly what happened in the dream. All she would say was that she lost Nayeon and their baby. It had hurt Nayeon to see her wife so afraid. Jeongyeon had always been the strong one.

Ever since that dream, her wife had become overprotective. Getting to doctors appointments was an ordeal now since Jeongyeon began driving slower than a grandma. She hovered over Nayeon, not letting her do anything even remotely dangerous; she wasn't even allowed to cut her own fruit.

Which brought them to today's issue of Nayeon going out for lunch.

"The girls will be here soon. I need to get my purse," Nayeon said.

She leaned up and gave Jeongyeon a peck on her lips before letting go of her hands.

"Are you sure about going?" Jeongyeon asked.

"Yes. Now quit worrying. You know Jihyo and Mina will be with me the whole time. They won't let anything happen."

Jeongyeon sighed.

"Alright. Just call me if something happens. I can be there in no time. Even if it's something small, just let me know and I'll come running okay?"

"Yoo Jeongyeon," Nayeon giggled. "I love you so much, even though you're a pain in the ass right now."

"Hey, you know she can hear you right? Don't talk bad about me in front of our baby," Jeongyeon pouted. She reached over and cupped her hands over Nayeon's protruding belly then leaned down.
