Chibi Upper Moons x Lower Moon reader

"Sorry, but the area around here has quite bad snowfall this time of year."

"Oh no it's alright, I grew up here when I was little. Don't worry." (Y/n) calmly reassured the older woman. And continued to guide the children through the small town.

"Goodness, do you think he's one of (L/n)-senpai's children?"
"The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, I see."
"Bless him. Do you think he knows?"

The whispers of the town folk were only loud enough for (y/n) to hear. They gave them a firm nod, which quickly quieted them.

"How much further is it?" Nakime asked quietly.
"We're almost there." (Y/n)'s calm voice erasures the little demons. The soft putter patter of their feet crunched the snow as they neared the end of the small town.

"Oh, Sir! Sir!" another woman approached them. "There has been a nasty giant bear wandering around here! Please be careful." (y/n) simple noded with a quick, "thank you," and continued guiding the children out of town. Everyone followed the main path (y/n) at the helm. As the snow started to blow in the wind after 10mins of trudging along. "Is everyone doing ok?" All the little heads answer back all happy to continue, except Nakime. "I think the flowers a turning to ice." She handed the flowers to (y/n) so they should off the snow and handed it back to Nakime upside down.

"Do you need to switch? Gyotaro asked as he looked back at Nakime.
"Yes, please," Nakime answered weakly handing the flowers to him and swapping places.

They both gave the clearance to (y/n) and everyone moved on. They came up to a small footpath completely covered in snow between the thick trees, as the wind began to pick up. So, in hopes of getting to cover (y/n) quickly took them into the trees where the wind wasn't so harsh. Using the tree line as a shield from miserable weather around them.

Encouraging them all to to walk just a bit faster, taking the clumsy steps through the snow. The childish skip-hop step had all the little demons heads bob up and down through the thickening snow. The walk wasn't so bad with the slit incline of the base of the mountain would come up to a familiar clearing.

'We're almost there.'

As if the storm recognised it; it began to calm. The howl became a whisper, the freeze became a chill. And there it stood; humble little house draped with snow. The memory of chatter, giggles, jokes and play float in the air. The warm smell of curry, stew, coals wood and skewers picking a variety of vegetables and meats dance in (y/n)'s nostrils. All gone quiet.

"Where are they?" Muzan spoke up confused with the stillness.

"They should be around the back, let's head inside so we can get out the cold" (y/n)'s words almost swiped up by the wind. (y/n) quickly ushered the little death bombs inside as they open the door.

The house was quite, but not empty. It simply looked like the family had just stepped out for a moment. The usual big family mess with some random organization that's trying to work. Drawers packed full and spilling over, the shelves heavy with books, art splays scattered around pieces of paper with childish paintings, landscapes, flowers and the family. Educational books stacked with an old worn out stuffed bunny sitting on top.

'Home at last'

(Y/n) gave a breath of of relief. It's been so long. And it hasn't changed a bit.The memories of of crazed play fights, tag, hind and go seek with a few other games here and there ran through their mind as they made sure all of the little demons were here.

(Y/n) took in a deep breathe and called, "I'M HOME!!"

'BUMP'

The sound of shuffeling around and the sound of foot steps rang from the second floor and at the staircase toward the back of the house.

There 2 heads pocked through with those same bright sapphire eyes.

"ONII-SAN!"
"ONEE-SAN!"

(A/n: Hi everyone, as you can see I'm back to writing again! I will be adding more updates to Chibi Upper Moons and Fox Demon. Let me know if you want me to go through and fix all the spelling mistakes, but you guys seem to have a lot of fun with it. 😂)
