Val is a very easy going and collected person, very patient with people who others may call "difficult", he has experience with kids(both his age and younger) because of all of his siblings. He's kind, but smart enough to not tolerate people using and walking over him or his friends. Val tends to keep friends at arms length, he does really care about them he just isn't the best at showing how he feels. He's nervous about letting people know how he feels. He's so deeply afraid of losing someone that he's willing to not get close just so he can't lose them.
