Healing the broken - Renhyuck

Renjun was already 13 at that time so all the household works went to him. His mom won't even help him even in weekends saying she is the one making money. It was exhausting. Renjun missed his brother so much.

His birthday passed but his brother never visited. His mom told because of his studies his school doesn't allow him to go out the school but she always gave him the gift he sent or that's what he thought.

Till the day of his 18th birthday. His mom told his brother studies will finish this year and he will definitely visit on his birthday. He decorated the house and ballons were stick to the wall saying
" WELCOME HOME GE " Instead of happy birthday. He was so happy to meet him. He waited for long his mom wasn't home. He fall asleep waiting. And suddenly awake when he heard a beeping sound of the door. He looked at the time, it was already 11:40. He was late but he made it. He was so excited to meet him, But was disappointed when wasn't him.
It was his mom with a man. Then he introduced himself as his mom's boyfriend for a year. The man greeted him and gave him a small box. He don't know how to react but he thanked him before accepting it. He checked the time again it was 12:00. He is not still here yet his birthday ended with he having his cake with his mom and the new man of her life. He was eating lifelessly, when his mom told to open the gift her mom gave him. He wasn't in a mood but his mom forced him. So he opened it saw it was a phone he thanked him quickly and went to his room finding a card of the school were his brother studied but when he called them they said there was never a student like that in their school. He got confused and went down to ask his mom only to find her making out with the man.

As time pass the man became no longer the man he knew before there marriage. He acts like he owns then house and do nothing but lay down and watch TV. Worse? His true color came out. He will be all sweet when mom's there and when she's gone he is a complete different man.

One day Renjun was tired from school, so he went straight to bed to take a nap.
Later that day he went up to him and woke him up because there were no food cooked. He was tired and so he said to him
"if you are hungry just make yourself a food".
The man didn't like what he heard and grabbed him by the collar and slapped him. That was hard and painful. He started crying as he kept on pointing while saying
" Don't talk smart with me little b*tch because the next time you do I swear I'm gonna make your filthy little mouth bleed "
He left and went back to what he was doing. Renjun was scared for the first time when his mom arrived he said everything that happened. But she choose to listen to what her husband says. He was disappointed. He went back to his bed and touch the pendant before crying his heart out.

Mom was always her husbands side which made the man confident to hurt him. And he was right he became the punching bag of the man. Whenever he is angry even if he was not at the fault. He was mistreated at his house by his step dad. Later he even started to lock him in dark. Since then renjun started to fear darkness.

One night, the man kicked him out of the house while him in his pajamas at midnight he was not even wearing his shoes, only socks protected his feet but it wasn't enough to keep him from the cold. He was shaking in cold. So he decided to try to warm himself by walking while hugging himself. Then he started to remember his dad. Tears started flowing his face. Soon he touched the pendant his brother gave him.
" Ge where are you? I need you...I don't think I could survive longer in here please help me..wherever you are please take me with you too"
He started to sob as tears kept on falling. When his feet can no longer walk. Renjun was about to fall but someone caught him and covered him with his coat and carried him. He know he should have been scared but he felt safe. The stranger took Renjun to his car. He looked at at his face he look quite familar to him. But he didn't know how? So he asked him.
" Who are you? "
