"Out of anything... you want THAT to be your last words?" (Y/N) wonders.
"What? I would have felt bad if they found them without knowing," Sam tries to justify. (Y/N) just shakes their head at Sam and mutters a 'whatever' under their breath.
"Come on. I uh... don't think we're getting your car back," (Y/N) says while slowly standing up. Sam does the same and they carefully walk back to their bikes but before they could get close they see a "Beware of Dogs" sign to their right. And farther back they can see two big dogs chained to a deteriorating brick wall.
"Sam, stay calm and move slowly," (Y/N) whispers, trying not to alert the dogs. Sam doesn't listen and jumps when he sees them stand up. Because of this sign of fear, the dogs come charging at the two.
"Oh shit! Run Sam run!" (Y/N) screams.
"No! No! No! No! My God," Sam yells. As they run (Y/N) turns their head to see the chains holding the dogs back easily break from the wall as they continue to chase. Sam and (Y/N) run and make their way into an abandoned building.
"No, you're a good dog! Good dog! Good dog!" Sam yells.
"Sam over here!" (Y/N) runs into a dome building, Sam not far behind. They jump onto barrels in the center of the room to get out of the dogs' reach.
"Oh, my God. Whoa! Hey, hey, hey, hey! Whoa! All right! Oh! No! No!" Sam panics. They kick toward the dogs every time they try to jump up and bite them. They hear an engine rev and see Sam's car drive through a blocked-off hole in the wall. It scares off the dogs before circling the two.
"Okay. Please, please don't kill us! I'm sorry! Take the keys! I don't want them! Car's yours!" Sam chucks his keys at the car. He grabs his cousin's wrist and sprints out of the dome building. As they run out a cop car stops in front of them.
"Whoa whoa whoa. Listen, listen, listen. Good, you're here," Sam says as he lets go of (Y/N). The two officers exit their car and point their guns.
"Let me see your hands!" The officer from the passenger seat yells. (Y/N) complies, staying calm. Sam... not so much.
"No, no, no, no! It's not me! It- It's not us!" Sam yells as he raises his hands.
"Let me see your hands." The officer yells again, getting closer to Sam, ignoring (Y/N).
"The guy's inside!"
"Shut up! Walk towards the car." Sam puts his hands behind his head and walks toward the hood, "Put your head on the hood." He lays his head on the hood with a thud.
The driver of the cop car walks over to (Y/N) as they slowly lower their arms. "Sorry about all this, we'll take care of him. You have a good night." The officer gives a small nod and walks off to the car. Once the two officers and Sam were in the car they started to drive off and left (Y/N) behind. They followed behind the cop car until they reached the abandoned bikes and watched as the car left for the police station. (Y/N) picks up both bikes before starting their journey back home. The whole walk home they were replaying the moment of seeing the giant robot.
(Y/N) finally reaches the house and leaves the bikes near the bushes in front of the house. They quietly make their way inside and then upstairs. They walk past their aunt and uncle's room questioning if they should wake them up. They decide against it knowing the police will call them sooner or later and head to bed.

In the morning Ron and (Y/N) went to the police station for Sam. Sam is sitting in a chair while he talks to the deputy, two other officers are sitting around, Ron is leaning against one of the desks, and (Y/N) is leaning against filing cabinets that stand behind Sam.
"Look, I can't be any clearer than how crystal clear I am being. It just stood up," Sam tries to explain what happened last night. (Y/N) shakes their head, they know what Sam is saying is true but the officer thinks he's crazy.
"It just stood up. Wow. It's really neat. Okay, chiefy. Time to fill her up. And no drippy-drippy." The deputy hands Sam a cup and a tissue. Sam takes it from him with a face of utter disbelief. "What are you rolling? Whippets? Goofballs? A little wowie sauce with the boys?" The deputy questions.
"No, I'm not on any drugs," Sam defends himself, "They were with me, they can back me up." Sam gestures back at (Y/N). But the deputy ignores his comment as one of the officers throws a prescription bottle at him.
"What's these?" he shakes the bottle, "Found it in your pocket. Mo-jo. Is that what the kids are doing now? Little bit of Mo-jo?" (Y/N) lets out a faint laugh at the deputy's thought process.
"Those are my dog's pain pills," Sam answers in a quiet voice. The deputy looks over to Ron as he speaks up.
"You know, a chihuahua. A little..." Ron makes a yapping motion with his hand. The deputy rubs his head in frustration. His movement causes his jacket to move and reveal his gun, which is holstered on his side.
"What was that?" he says as he notices Sam staring at the gun with fear.
"Huh?" Sam looks back and forth between the man and his weapon.
"You eyeballing my piece, Fifty Cent?" the deputy walks closer to Sam and gets into his face, "You wanna go? Make something happen. Do it. 'Cause I promise you. I will bust you up."
"Sir, you do know that threatening a witness or suspect with a weapon can lead to a misdemeanor or even a felony charge on your end." (Y/N) looks at the deputy with a 'don't test me' look, "Right?" The deputy gets out of Sam's face and looks at (Y/N).
And how would you know?" He tries to say in a condescending tone, thinking he is going to win.
"Well as a First Lieutenant in the US Air Force, I can confidently say I know a thing or two about the law, Deputy," they say the man's title while matching his tone. The deputy opened his mouth to speak again but noticed the dog tags they were wearing. He closes his mouth and clears his throat.
Sam glances between his cousin and the man. Before speaking, "Are you on drugs?" Sam whispers back to him.
The deputy looks at Sam with a small glare.
