Different: Optimus Prime X reader

Fowler got her an apartment.

She didn't want to be near anyone in the group. Jack reminded her of Arcee and the rest reminded her of both Arcee and Optimus. She couldn't go back and live with June and Jack cause Arcee stayed there at times. 

As for school, she's been doing it online.

She's already 5 months into her pregnancy, and to say she was saying "showing" was an understatement. She was washing the dishes when she heard a loud knock. Selena quickly turned off the faucet and looked through the little hole on her door. She tippy-toed and saw June holding a cardboard box.

"Sweetie, will you open the door?"

Selena sighed and unlocked the door, allowing her surrogate mother to enter. As she closes the door she notices how June scans her apartment. 

"Fowler got you a lovely place."

"Thanks," Selena says smiling softly.

"Do you want anything to drink?"

"Just water," June says sitting down next to the countertop in the middle of the kitchen. 

Selena wobbled to fill up the cup with water and gave it to the nurse.

"So, how are you doing?"

"Well, since my boyfriend slept with my brother's motorcycle I've been doing well." She says sitting down across June.

June looks down as she looks at Selena's womb.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked."

"No, don't apologize. You're not the one who slept with him, nor the one who cheated on me." Selena says grabbing June's hands causing the nurse to smile softly. 

"Oh, I came to leave you this, Jack's baby clothes."

June places the box on the counter and opens it revealing cute blue and white onesies.

"I know you still don't know, but since I will obviously not be needing this anytime soon I thought to bring you them."

"Thank you so much," Selena says tearing up.

June holds her tight and comforts the expecting mother.

"If you need me I'm here."

Selena sniffs and thanks June.

"Also, whenever you start preparing the nurseries tell me so I can send Jack here to help."

Selena nods at this and hugs her mother.

"Thanks again for accompanying me."

"Anytime," June says as she opens the door for Selena.

They decided to go shopping for the nursery, and being honest as soon as Selena entered she felt a heavy weight on her chest. 

She's doing this alone. Of course, June and the others will be helping, but that's only gonna be at times. In reality, she's doing this whole parenthood thing alone. 

"You okay?"

"Mhm." 

Selena started looking around and her eyes met a onesie saying "Daddy's Lil Champ" and another one saying "Dad's Little Princess".

She feels the feeling get stronger and she keeps on looking for the stuff for the nursery. June noticed how Selena got when she saw the onesies. I mean she herself knows how it feels to raise a kid without the dad being present. However, June somewhat does not think Optimus would ever want to not be part of his child's life.

"Selena."

"Yes?"

"Does he know?"

Selena's eyes open wide before turning down.

"Selena-"

"I don't want to tell him, okay? I did wish to tell him, however, after what he did I know I will say something stupid."

"Do you want him to know?"

Selena nods looking back at the cribs.

"I'm surprised none of you have told him." She says as she feels tears run down.

"Is he at least happy with her?" She says turning back to June.

"He pretends to be, however, I know he's not. He has this look. A whole different look than when he had with you."

"Is she happy?"

June shakes her head causing Selena to tear up more.

Flashback

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!"

"S-Selena, please-"

Selena throws the light lamp to Optimus, however, he moves causing it to smash into the wall.

"How could you?!" Selena yells out crying.

"S-Sweetspark, please I'm so sorry," Optimus says tearing up.

"I never meant to hurt you."

"Will you did! I fucking trusted you! I trusted her! I trusted the both of you!"

"I thought you didn't care-"

"DIDN'T CARE?! DIDN'T FUCKING CARE?! I've cried on that fucking bed every day since you left! I skipped meals! June took me out to help ease my mind and all I could think was if my boyfriend was okay! I don't believe in that god stuff, but want to know what I did. I fucking prayed! I prayed that Megatron wouldn't kill you! I prayed for you to come back so I could apologize! BUT INSTEAD, I FIND YOU IN THAT BED AFTER YOU FUCKED HER!"

She looked at the room and saw the boxes of all the furniture including the box of clothes June gifted her. She smiled softly at the feeling of her little one's kicking.

"I know, sweethearts." She says caressing the sport, before getting kicked again.

"Owww! Hey! That was a strong one." She laughs as her little ones start to kick her.

"You kick just as hard as your father..." She looks at the window of the room and walks up to it, seeing the familiar red and blue truck.
