Chapter 21
Dito ako natutulog sa kwarto niya ngayon, while Freya and Aya slept in Freya's room.
In the foreground of the forest scene, have a young girl standing at the edge of the mystical pool, peering into the water with a sense of curiosity and wonder.
She is dressed in tattered, yet strangely elegant, clothing that gives her an otherworldly appearance. The moonlight illuminates her face, revealing a mix of innocence and intrigue.
It gives the girl a mysterious quality. Her reflection in the water shows her as an older, more ethereal version of herself.
Wow! Just wow! Nakakamangha.
Parang gusto ko nalang hingin yun. Napaka ganda!
This was the side of Aya I truly admire. Napaka talented niya. Well, siguro nga dahil namana niya sa mama niya na architect pala. I know Aya said she likes me; I like her too.
I like her a lot, but not in the romantic sense. Hindi ko alam, basta enjoy ako sa company niya as a good friend.
I checked the clock on the bedside table, and it says 2:36am.
I tried to be as silent as possible, not wanting to wake anyone up.
But then, I saw tita Frances room.
And out of curiosity I found myself drawn to Aya's mother's room, its door slightly ajar.
The dim light of a lampshade barely illuminated the room. Kaya naman dahan dahan akong naglakad patungo roon. I stood at the threshold, hesitating for a moment, before curiosity got the better of me, and I pushed the door open just a little wider. Walang tao.
Nilibot ko ang paningin ko.
My eyes were immediately captivated by a massive painting hanging on one wall. Sobrang laki ng painting na iyon!
This painting was strange, almost otherworldly. Parang same taste sila ni Aya.
The canvas was large, taking up most of the wall, and the colors were dark and brooding, dominated by deep blues and purples. The brushstrokes were bold and expressive, creating a sense of movement that drew me in.
In the center of the painting was a figure, a woman with long, flowing hair that seemed to merge with the swirling darkness around her.
She stood in a desolate landscape, surrounded by twisted, trees that seemed to reach out toward her.
