When Olysia woke up, she hadn't expected the day to have gone like this.
Olysia was spitting at Sergei who was withering on the ground. Olysia had blood running down for her nose and painting multiple small trails of blood down her face. While everyone cowered away from her. The Corporalki in particular seemed horrified at the sight.
She was too focused on the situation at hand, she didn't hear the door slam open or see Alina and Nikolai standing there with wide eyes.
"What in the Saint's sake happened here?" Alina demanded.
"She's a psychopath!" Sergei pointed at Olysia who rolled her eyes dramatically like she couldn't stand his voice.
"Sergei asked for it, he punched me first by the way. Completely unprompted." Olysia gestured to her very obviously broken nose.
"Unprompted?" Sergei stood up and went to push Olysia.
Olysia stepped forward to meet him halfway but Bastian stepped between them.
"I think there's more than enough injuries for now." He put a hand on Sergei's chest and Olysia's shoulder.
Olysia shoved his arm off of her.
"I agree." Alina shot a glare at both parties responsible for the fight. "Now what exactly happened?"
Both Olysia and Sergei began to talk over each other but Alina raised her hand effectively stopping them. Olysia really needed to learn that trick.
"Zoya, what happened?" Alina asked a third party that would have no loyalty to a Grisha order.
"Sergei punched Olysia and she fought back. He lost obviously." Zoya summarized shortly. She always seemed slightly unnerved but acted as if nothing was wrong.
"And is there any particular reason everyone looks petrified?"
There was nervous shuffling.
"Olysia stopped blood flow going to his heart which triggered a heart attack." Bastian answered because no one else wanted to speak up.
"She's messing with things she shouldn't be." Sergei snarled. "It's unnatural. A Fabrikator should have no control over the human body. "
"She doesn't technically have control of the body. There are metal traces found in human blood." David spoke up even if he hated all of the eyes on him. He wanted to defend Olysia the only way he knew how, with facts. He lifted his head to try to seem more confident.
