I stared on my phone, the very platform that contains the novel, and aggressively swiped up and down repeatedly just to confirm what I had read with my very own two eyes is true. After moments of undergoing the five stages of grief, I come to sadly accept that the novel has truly ended.

A wave of nostalgia swept over me as I remembered my 1st year of high school. I was overwhelmed by the consequences of my foolish actions. The first thought that came to my mind was to slit my wrist. The blades had already touched my skin, but it never penetrated it. I realized I didn't have the courage to take my own life.

So I searched for another option on a website that would help me escape from reality, and I happened to stumbled upon a web novel by accident. It was an obscure novel. I was intrigued by the title of the novel but reading it never truly became an option for me. Instead, I chose to immerse myself in the world of gaming and get addicted to it.

By the time I reached my 3rd year, the burden of problems began to suffocate me once more, and I desperately sought for another option to escape, as games alone couldn't suffice in providing respite from reality.

I suddenly thought about the novel I came across online. And that's how I started reading it, and I have no regrets. In fact, I found myself invested in every chapter, following the main protagonist's struggle to survive in a ruined world and conquer the Otherworldly Beings. I looked up to his bravery, resilience, and unbreakable mindset. However, at the same time, I couldn't help but feel a sense of jealousy towards him.

That's why I was utterly shocked to read the nonsensical ending the author had given to him. He and everyone in that ruined world deserved a happy ending as well, considering all the sufferings, miseries, and scenarios they had endured throughout their lives. The author seemed no different from those wicked Otherworldly Beings portrayed the novel.

And as a mere reader of his story, I found myself with no choice but to accept what the author had presented to me. When I went to the comment section box, I kept deleting my sentences, not knowing what to say.
