"Hey Juhyeok, wanna go to my house?" Yerim asked as they exited the building.

Soobin was with the two kids too.

"Umm..."

Juhyeok glanced at the librarian.

"Can I?"

"Sure; I'll let your dad know."

"Okay!"

Juhyeok hugged Soobin around the waist, before Yerim grabbed his hand and skipped the stairs with him, giggling.

Soobin watched them with a smile, before fishing his phone out of his pocket and dialing Taehyun's number.

["Hello?"]

"Hey, Juhyeok is gonna hang out with Yerim at her house; I think Taeyeon is picking them up."

["Oh. Thanks for letting me know."]

"You sound disappointed."

Taehyun sighed.

["Nothing, just that Mr Oh finally gave me a day off starting this afternoon. I was hoping to spend it with Juhyeok."]

"Ah..."

A brilliant idea came to Soobin's already genius mind.

"Well..."

"How about I take you out on a date?"

Taehyun instantly agreed to the date, hung up, and sprinted to the bathroom to change his clothes into something more comfortable.

After dressing into a black cardigan, a white tee and denim jeans paired with white trainers, he grabbed his purse before exiting the police department building to find Soobin's car parked correctly on the lane.

Soobin was waiting for him in the driver's seat, scrolling through his phone with the window rolled down... and... wearing shades?

"What's with the sunglasses?" Taehyun laughed, approaching him.

"It's called fashion, darling."

Taehyun giggled and sat down in the shotgun seat, strapping on his seatbelt. Soobin smiled, and turned the engine on.

"Hold on tight."

"You're not planning to— Soobin!"

Soobin pressed the pedal and zoomed down the street, making the cold window rush by as they drove down the road.

"CHOI SOOBIN IN THE NAME OF LAW; SLOW DOWN!!"

Soobin burst out laughing at Taehyun's scowling face, but he obeyed him in order to not get fined by the cops that were not his lovely boyfriend.

"Next time this happens, I'm taking you to the station PERSONALLY!" Taehyun exclaimed.

"You're adorable Taehyun."

"Excuse me?! I could arrest you, and that's all you—"

"Because it's simply a fact."

The car honked behind them, as the light had turned green and Soobin hadn't moved his car yet.

"Do I have your permission to drive?" Soobin asked.

Taehyun playfully rolled his eyes.

"Yes you do."

First stop, the movie theaters.

"What are they playing?" Taehyun questioned.

"Avatar 2 is still playing; I was planning to see it with Yeonjun but it turns out he already did with his two friends Changbin and Wooyoung."
