„Luffy, come here!!!"
„NEVER!!!!!!"
„Ugh, for god's sake, you have to wash yourself. Now come here, before I loose it."
„I SAID NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!"

You sighed and ran after your boyfriend, who just escaped the bathroom. Being on Luffys crew meant trouble, but being his girlfriend was a total desaster!

Not only, you had to deal with his stubbornness and stupidity but also with him, being totally unaware of what it means to have a girlfriend. He really thought this works like his friendship with Nami and Robin, even though you told him, that you two were more.

But since you two weren't in a relationship for that long, you didn't even had a kiss!
He was so innocent.
Sometimes you wondered why you were in love with him.

Then he made you smile or even laugh and you had your answer:
He gave you happiness.
He gave you safety
He was always there to catch you, if you fell
He was the reason you believed in a better world.
He promised it to you.

„(Y/N) someday I will make this world a better place, than the one you were born into."

You smiled, as you opened the door the the deck. „Has anyone seen Luffy?"
The crew looked at you with curious eyes. „Weren't you supposed to convince him to finally take a bath?" Usopp walked up to you. „Yeah, but our dear captain decided, that he will never take a bath ever again and ran away."
„Just knock him unconscious and wash him by force." Nami suggested.

You pouted and crossed your arms, „I can't Nami. That's mean and he's my boyfriend..." „Though I will never understand what you saw in him. He's a lost case."
She sighed, „Fine then I'll knock him out and do it myself!"

„NO!"
„Look (Y/N) if you can't do it by the evening, I'll do it." She cracked her knuckles.
You sighed.
„Fineeee... I'll try it again."

You left the deck and started searching for Luffy.
He wasn't in the kitchen.
Or the boys room.
Or in that of the girls.
Maybe he didn't want Nami to beat him up for being there?

You could also exclude the card room and Chopper's little doctor's room, since Nami, again, would kill him for hiding there.

You haven't checked the training room yet...
Maybe he was there!
Now that you thought about it, it was the only logical answer.
So you rushed there, only to open the door and find Zoro working out in there.

Where was Luffy?

„Hey Zoro! Sorry for interrupting, but have you seen Luffy?"
„Yeah, he's hiding in the locker over there."
„OI ZORO, DON'T TELL HER!!!"

You cocked an eyebrow and opened the locker, finding your boyfriend in the weirdest position ever.
„Well... well... well... is that meat in your hands?"

Caught in the act, Luffy stuffed the meat into his mouth and put on the worst poker face ever, „N-n-no...? I don't know what you mean... and why should it matter...?"

The poor boy looked everywhere but at you. „It matters..." You collected all the leftover food from his mouth and pecked his cheek, „...because it makes you ten times cuter, than you already are."

He looked at you with eyes, big as hazelnuts and smiled sheepishly. „Shishishishi, you think?"
„I know it." You pulled him out of the locker, almost making him fall on top of you.

His lips hovering over yours. You wanted to kiss him.
Right here.
Right now.

„Geez, if you two are going to make out, then please go somewhere else. Or better, go wash yourself Luffy. You smell like shit."
