Y/n's pov:

Later that day, my mum takes me to the e.r. to have a look at my head

I got a scan, and they did some tests

They said that there are no major injuries to the brain, but I might have a minor concussion

They gave me some pills and told me to be on bed rest for a week so I don't make it worse

"So what happened?" My mum asks curiously

"My friend was getting beat up, and I tried to help."

"Oh, ok, does it hurt a lot?" Her voice was shakey as she never liked me being in pain
One time, I had broken my arm, some falling out of a tree, so she never let me go near a big tree for 2 years

"No, ma, you don't have to worry."

"Ok, well, go rest."

I listen and go to my bed

I rest for a bit until I hear my door open

"Hi y/n, you uh ok?" It was robin
I stay silent
"If you don't wanna talk, that's fine. I just wanted to see if you were ok."

"Well, no, i'm not ok, I have a concussion, and you yelled at me for nothing!"

"I'm sorry, I was just a bit annoyed, but I'll see ya tomorrow?"

"No, you won't, I have to stay in the house for a week, and I need rest, I can't do that with you around." I snap

"Ok." Was all he could say, and then he walked off

Finney's pov:

I'm get sent home

My dad's pissed

"Why do you have to be such an idiot? Can't you use your head!" He the smell of his vodka was strong

"I'm sorry." Why am I such a disappointment

Me and my dad used to be close, but then Mum died

Then he was like a stranger living in my home

"Hey Gwenny, are you ok?" I force out even though my throat was basically burning

I get up and go to my room

"Finney, my son, I'm really sorry." My dad says, talking through the door
I get up and open it
"Oh, finney, please forgive me."

My eyes start tearing up
I know that even if I forgive him, he'll do it again

"I'm going to visit donna." I push past him, and I run out the front door

Racing to Donna's house

She opens the door, and her eyes widen

"Finney, what happened." She pulls into a hug

"I love you, donna." I weep in her arms

"I love you too." She smiles and lets me in

Her whole family is there

"Um, hi, everyone." I chuckle awkwardly

"Mum, dad, this is my.. boyfriend finney."

Her dad stands up and shakes my hand

"Yes, sir."
