Manic: *eating his scrambled eggs* Mmm..Just like pops used to make them.

*Kylie walks into the room*

Kylie: How're the eggs, Manic?

Manic: They're good. Just like my foster father used to make them.

Kylie: *She chuckles a little* Well I'm glad you like them, it's my mom's recipe.

Manic: I see.

Kylie: *She clears her throat* So since it's just you and me, how 'bout you tell me about yourself?

Manic: I grew up in the Slums of Mobotropolis, raised to steal from the greedy rich to help out the humbled and poor. My pops died when I was 10.

*A look of empathy appears on Kylie's face*

Kylie: Oh...I'm sorry for your loss.

Manic: Thanks. I have lived with Tiara and her family ever since he passed on.

Kylie: Is everything ok there, like is it nice?

Manic: It is, Tiara owns a mechanic shop, and she works with her parents, Gazebo and Nora, that's where I got my Whip and Sword.

Kylie: Neat! I don't really use anything like that, but! I do have this. *She takes out her frying pan*

Kylie: Hehe, yep! In the right hands, frying pans are lethal weapons. *She spins it around but ends up hitting herself in the face* Ow!

Kylie: *she rubs her cheek* Yeah.. that's what I get for messing around.

Manic: It's alright.

Kylie: *She clears her throat* So I guess I should tell you about me then.. I used to live with my parents and grandparents, but now I live with Sonic.

Manic: I wonder why?

Kylie: Well you see, Sonic saved me, and my family back during the Chaos incident, we ended up becoming close, and I decided to join him on his adventures and- *she chuckles a little* Trust me, I've been on plenty.

Manic: I trust you.

Kylie: *She smiles at him*

Manic: *He smiles back*

Kylie: *She clears her throat* So uh..since you're new here, how about after breakfast, I take you on a tour, you know get you more acquainted with the crew?

Manic: I'd be up for that.

Kylie: Great! I just know you'll like them. *She smiles brightly*

Manic: *He smiles brightly as well*

Kylie: I better get myself ready then, see you later!

*She rushes off*

Manic: See ya.

*Later that morning*

Manic: You ready, Kylie?

Kylie: Ready!

*She comes into the room in her usual attire*

Kylie: *She sighs* Nothing like a fresh outfit to start a new day.

Manic: Yeah.

*She walks towards the front door, and opens it*

Kylie: After you.

Manic: *walks outside*

*Kylie follows him outside*

*It's a really sunny day, the flowers are flourishing, the birds are singing, and there's not one cloud in the sky*
