SOUTH MOUNT, HARINGTON:
The CIA and Harrington Police Department (HPD) teamed up to figure out what happened to Rohan Drivedi. The car they found at the bottom of a cliff didn't have any clues, except for a perfect red envelope that somehow survived the fire that killed Rohan – or at least, that's what everyone thought.
His body was missing for a while before they discovered it, burned in a warehouse near Harrington. Now, the mystery gets even more complicated.
How did he get there? Who rescued him from the accident? And why was he killed in such a brutal way? The answers are elusive.
"Officer Nancy, we've got the latest call log from Rohan's phone. The final call was made to a number near the Marinewind Harbor," Daniel, the APD officer, reported. They were at Harrington Hall, the CIA's main hub.
Rohan's accident had a significant impact on Harrington's business community and the nation. It served as a somber reminder that even the most influential individuals were not immune to the Devil's reach. The news made headlines, sparking discussions in powerful boardrooms and giving rise to numerous rumors and conspiracy theories.
However, his destiny wasn't a standalone tragedy. Two other people, Howard Falcon and Juliana Cruiz, met similarly horrifying fates, plunging the city into a state of fear and confusion. Both were part of strange accidents that, upon closer inspection, revealed sinister elements.
Howard Falcon, the esteemed chairperson of Starlight Hotels & Resorts, once held the respect and admiration of Harrington's elite. However, his life took a dark and sordid turn. In a shocking twist, he was found dead in an unsavoury adult club, reportedly due to a drug overdose. The circumstances surrounding his death left investigators perplexed.
Juliana Cruiz, a wealthy widow with extensive land holdings in London and Spain, became another unfortunate victim of the Devil's actions. Her lifeless body was discovered hanging from the ceiling of her luxurious home, a horrifying sight that sent shockwaves through the quiet streets of London. Her tragic death added to the growing panic within the Alpha Group's inner circle.
In all three cases, the Devil had left behind his sinister signature: a menacing red envelope bearing a chilling message - "Justice has been served." The entire city grappled with the mystery of these high-profile murders, all linked by a shadowy thread that pointed directly to the Alpha Group, a prestigious organization shrouded in suspicion and fear.
The Devil was not just an ordinary psychopath but a cunning and persistent adversary. The elite of Harrington and London found themselves in a state of fear, realizing that the sinister justice of the Devil spared no one.
"Sure," Officer Nancy replied, placing a photograph of Rohan's body on the table. As the leader of the investigative team, she had her hands full with the havoc caused by the Devil. "I need a detailed breakdown of his call records and a thorough background check," she instructed Officer Daniel, her focus returning to the assortment of photographs on her pinboard.
Three elite murders. Three powerful individuals. One common thread: The Devil.
Who was this Devil?
Daniel, an up-and-coming officer in the Harrington Police Department and David's fellow classmate had been assigned to assist Nancy. Since the mayor of LarksVille also served as the CEO of the Alpha Group, David had been called in to oversee the case review.
"Yes, ma'am," Officer Daniel replied before starting to exit the room.
"And, Daniel?" Nancy called out.
He turned back, asking, "Yes, ma'am?"
"Have Mr. and Mrs. Brown arrived yet?"
"They are en route!"
