It was a sunny Saturday morning. Normally, you'd have plans. Today would be different. You had no plans. Due to the fact that you had detention. You've never had detention all senior year. Mr. Diaz and Mr. Jamal should already be at school by now. It's 6:20, they want you at school for 7:00. Y/n already showered and did her morning routine. So she gets dressed.

Y/n sprayed herself with "Burberry Her" perfume. She ate a chocolate chip granola bar. Then drank some apple juice. She brushed her teeth again, used mouthwash, and headed out the door. Y/n started up her car, put on her seatbelt, shuffled her playlist, & gets onto the road. After two stoplights, she's at school. Reversing into a parking spot. Only two other cars were parked. You know they're for Mr. Jamal and Mr. Diaz. She checks her phone for the time. It's 6:37. Y/n grabs her purse, phone, & keys. Y/n locks her car and walks into the school. She goes upstairs and gets into Mr. Jamal's room.
He and Jamal are conversing. They stop when you walk in. Smiling ear to ear at you.
Mr. Diaz: "Good Morning Ms. Y/n! You look pretty!"
Mr. Jamal: "Good Morning Y/n! Yes, you look very gorgeous!"
Y/n: "Thanks so much Mr. Diaz and Mr. Jamal!"
You say, blushing. Tucking your hair behind your ear.
Mr. Diaz: "You're welcome! Please have a seat! Help yourself to some Chick-Fil-A Chick-N-Minis. There's also a strawberry lemonade with your name on it."
Y/n: "Thank you so much!"
You grab a box of Chick-N-Minis & the lemonade. Then you grab a chair. Sitting down between Mr. Diaz and Mr. Jamal. Y/n eats her breakfast and sips her drink. As Mr. Diaz and Mr. Jamal explain why you're here.
Mr. Jamal: "So Y/n, let me start off my saying. You're not in trouble. Think of this as a meeting. Also, you don't have to be formal with us. You can address us by our first names."
Y/n: "Really Jamal?!"
Jamal: "Of course! You're an outstanding student and you stay out of trouble. We see no problem with it. Keep up the good work by the way!"
Oscar: "Ditto, you put your all into every assignment. We really appreciate it!"
Y/n: "Thanks! I feel a "but" coming though."
She says, with an eyebrow raised.
Oscar: "There is, but the issue is. You're the only one passing our classes."
Y/n: "What?! No way!"
Y/n says in disbelief.
Jamal: "I know it's hard to believe. We've both observed your classmates drooling. Or checking you out. Sometimes even both, for long periods of time. So much so, their grades are slipping. Its kind of embarrassing to tell parents. The reason why their kid is failing. Is simply because they can't focus. Due to staring constantly at another student."
