The Dark Circus is what we call it. The shows that take place after dark are not for the faint of heart. The world of circus acts and freak shows have always been filled with wonder and oddities, but the seven men who perform after the crowds have g...

"Absolutely not."
I sighed, already expecting this reaction, but hoping otherwise. Aliya sat in front of me, arms crossed and eyes glaring at me. She wasn't happy with me. Justifiably so, after I told her what had happened this morning. I plopped down in a chair across from her.
"Well, I kind of already agreed..."
"You can back out. Tell them you changed your mind."
Easier said than done.
I leaned back in the chair, fiddling with the loose piece of thread sticking out of the arm while I gathered my thoughts. Aliya was right to think what I had agreed to was stupid. After all, we spent years knowing exactly what kind of place the Dark Circus was and the types of crowds it drew. Throwing myself to the wolf's den so to speak was probably one of, if not the worst decision, I'd be making.
"Aliya, I think this would be good experience for me. They're willing to teach me new routines. Plus..." I stressed sensing the way she was getting ready to cut me off. "I get to work with Park Jimin. The Park Jimin, Aliya! You know how much I've been dying to see him in action!"
"Ain't worth much when you're dead, or worse." She grumbled, leaning over her seat towards me. "Y/N, this is crazy. You know the rumors around that place. Walking in there, not to mention staying with one of them is a horrible idea!"
"I promise to be careful. Besides, I don't think any of them would let anything happen to me."
"You don't know that." She huffed exasperatedly.
Actually, I kind of did. Something told me that even though they hadn't said as much, I knew they wouldn't. More so Yoongi than anyone else I think. Especially after that night he saved me. But Aliya didn't know about that and, honestly, it was probably for the best that it stayed that way.
"It's only one show. That's all I've agreed to at this point. One performance, so I can see what all the hype is about and then I'll come back like nothing ever happened. Curiosity sated, my dream of seeing a Jimin performance fulfilled, and a host of new ideas and routines in mind for Yunho and I."
The stare she leveled my way told me she still wasn't impressed and was unhappy with the entire situation. But the wavering I could barely detect in there told me she was seconds from crumbling.
"Would it make you feel better if you got to meet them?"
Her head cocked to one side. I could tell she hadn't thought about that possibility. Not too surprising considering the seven of them seemed to keep their identities pretty well under wraps whether intentional or not. Prior to today, I hadn't ever seen any of them apart from the torn and faded posters plastered to the outside of their tent.
"I would prefer to not be completely in dark about who you'll be spending time with..." She drew her syllables out, hesitant about agreeing, but knowing that if I wasn't going to listen to her on this matter, it was better she gathers as many cards in hand as she could while she could.
