I was driving somewhere far away to get away from my abusive family.
I decided to live with my best friend Ashley, who lives in a small town called "Hayesville" for a while.
After two hours of driving, I hear my tires deflating and get startled a bit.
"Shit.. what the hell was that?"
I said to myself, I unbuckled my seatbelt and hoped off the car to see what it was, I then noticed all four tires have deflated.
I let out a frustrated groan, I put my hands inside my pockets and walked behind my car to see what might have caused the tires to deflate, I then notice spike strip just laying there in the middle of the road.
"What the.. who even put that there!?"
I decide to ignore it and not get any more angry than I already am, I take a deep breath and walk towards my car, I crossed my arms and leaned against the car.
I then notice a truck approaching me, I slowly walk towards the truck.
The male driver rolls down his window and begins speaking.
"Come in, Come in, I don't bite!"
The male driver says while chuckling.
I rolled my eyes and open the door to the truck, I entered it and sat down on the seat next to the driver, I then put my seatbelt on and closed the door
The driver then drives towards my car and attaches it to the back of the truck.
After that he puts his hands on the wheel and starts driving, he looks over at me and speaks
"Em' kids must've tooken the spike stripes from the back of the truck.. guess you found it for them"
He chuckles once again, I look outside the window trying to ignore him and everything he's saying to me
After five minutes he pulls up to a house, where he see's the sherrif, the sherrif seems to be handcuffing a teenage girl.
"Hey found a woman here that tires deflated from the spike strip that was jusy left there in the road, thought I bring them back to you" He said.
She alright?
Sherrif Lund asks
Ye, she alright but her tires sure aren't!"
The male driver says
The male driver talks to the sherrif who is starting to get annoyed by him
I look over at the teenage girl, we both stared at eachother for a moment of silence, we both break eye contact once Sherrif Lund starts speaking
I don't have time for this! Okay! I'm in the middle of something!
Sherrif Lund says in a slightly pissed tone
Y- yes ma'am..
The driver says, he starts the car and begins driving away

I look around the automobile shop, I notice a wall covered with papers with miss people faces on them, I look back at the driver, who is taking a look at my car, he looks back up at me
Hm.. it's gonna be $250, for the tow, and we need all four tires replaced.. and I think there's something wrong with the chip, but I can fix for about a $1000 dollars.. He says
I pulled out my wallet and searched for my credit card, once I found it I pulled it out of my wallet
"Oh I don't take credit cards.. cash only ma'am" He says
I roll my eyes and look over at the ATM machine that's Out of Order, he looks over at what im looking at
"Oh that over there? We ain't got one single ATM machine that works here at Hayesville." He says
I stay silent, not knowing what to do in the situation im in right now
You don't got the money huh?
He says
Yeah.. I said to him
The driver smiles
Well you could work it off.. you willing to that ma'am?
Yeah sure whatever..
I said in a "I don't care" tone
Alrighty then! I know the right guy who can accommodate..
He says, he starts walking towards the payphone and starts calling someone
