Chapter 13: The Team is Back Together

"You got to let him go! Let him go! You okay?" Sam looks up at Bee, hoping the S7 scientist didn't badly hurt him. Bee slowly leans up and turns his head to see his small friends.

"They didn't hurt you, right?" (Y/N) asks next. Bee glares at the people in the room before activating his battle mask and almost growling at everyone. Sharp, Maggie, Glen, and the soldiers stare at Bee with shock and a little fear. Bee turns over and shifts one of his hands into a cannon. Lennox and Epps tighten their grips on their guns.

"Listen to me," Sam starts to quickly explain, "The Cube is here and the Decepticons are coming." Bee slowly turns to sit on the table, still pointing his cannon at everyone.

"No, no, don't worry about them. They're okay. Right? They're not gonna hurt you." (Y/N) attempts to calm Bumblebee down as he stands up, "Just back up a little bit. He's friendly. He's fine. Okay, come on. Put the guns down. They're not gonna hurt you." Bee deactivates his battle mask but continues to point his cannon.

"Here, come with us. We're gonna take you to the All Spark." Sam adds.

They run down different hallways until they reach the room with the Cube, they run and jump over anything that gets in the way. They make it to a corner of the Cube. It's high in the air, but for Bee, it's in arms reach. Bee stares at the Cube in Awe before reaching up to it.

"Ah, okay, here we go. He doing something. He doing something." Epps leans over and tells Lennox and (Y/N). Bee touches the Cube and a bright blue shock wave goes over the Cube, then a similar glow appears all over it creating smaller boxes. Bee does something to the Cube and in a far corner, the Cube begins to shift and change. The humans stare in awe, watching as the Cube continues to shift and become smaller. Soon Bee was able to hold the Cube in one hand, it shocked him before becoming a single block.

"~Message from Starfleet, Captain~ Let's get to it~," Bee says through his radio.

"He's right. We stay here, we're screwed with Megatron in the other hangar. Mission City is twenty-two miles away. We're gonna sneak that Cube out of here and we're gonna hide it somewhere in the city." Lennox explains his plan of action. Sharp gets out of his moment of shock and turns to Lennox, "Good! Right!"

"But we cannot make a stand without the Air Force," Lennox adds. Sharp realizes that he is right and turns to Simmons. "This place must have some kind of radio link!"

"Yes!" Simmon nods

"Shortwave, CB!" Sharp continues.

"Right! Yes!"

"Sir, you got to figure out some way to get word out to them." Lennox turns to his team "Let's move!"

"In the alien archive, sir!" Simmons instructs Sharp, "There's an old army radio console."

"Will it work?" Sharp asks. Simmons slightly freaks out and looks around, "I don't k- Anything's possible! Did you see that? Poof!" Simmons motions with his hand to replicate what happened with the Cube.

Lennox and his team make their way to a spot that Bee could transform. Lennox starts to yell orders, "All right, Sam, get it in the car! (Y/N) you go with him! Mister Secretary! Get our birds in the air. When we get to the city, we're gonna find a radio, and I'll have Epps vector them in, okay?" As Lennox is commanding everyone Bee transforms back into his vehicle mode so Sam, Mikaela, and (Y/N) could travel with him and the Cube.

"Affirmative!" Defence Secretary Sharp yells back.

"Warning! NBE One cryo-tainment failing." Someone says over the sound system. Many S7 workers yell and run away.

"Set a perimeter around the yellow vehicle!" Lennox yells to his men as they run through the facility, trying to get back into the arms room. As Bee and the soldiers escape the facility, so does Megatron.

Bee leads everyone out and away from the dam. (Y/N) is sitting in the driver's seat, Sam's in the passenger seat, and Mikaela is in the back with the Cube.

"Cube's okay?" Sam asks Mikaela when he looks back at her and the Cube.

"Yeah, it's fine," Mikaela answers.

"Put the seat belt on it."

As Bee and the soldiers continue to drive to Mission City they see four familiar vehicles coming towards them. Sam points to the semi in front, "There's Optimus." Optimus, Jazz, Ratchet, and Ironhide drive past the group before they slam on their brakes to drift. They slide against the road until they are facing the other direction and join the others.

The group is now on a populated road. Bee is still leading the way while the other Autobots drive next to or behind him and the soldiers are farther back. (Y/N), Sam, and Mikaela start to hear the sound of cars swerving and crashing, Sam and (Y/N) look back to see an armored vehicle with a familiar cop.

"Oh no. no, no, no," Sam starts to panic. Mikaela looks back, trying to see what he is worried about, "What?"

"It's the same cop!"Sam tells her, "Block 'em, block 'em, block 'em."

Optimus seems to have noticed them as well as he slams on his breaks. As Optimus gets closer to the Cons the armored vehicle begins to transform while driving forward, propelling himself towards the group at a faster pace. Optimus begins to transform as well, he jumps and drags his feet on the road to slow himself down.

The Decepticon uses the wheels on his feet to move faster and rams himself into a bus, causing it to explode. Optimus turns around just as the Con dive-tackles him causing both of them to fly off the highway and down to a lower level. The Con yells as he falls and lands on the ground first, Optimus landing above him. A car holding a mother and young son gets blocked off by the bot fight in front of them. The mom slams on the brakes. They watch as the two fight, Optimus gets punched in the face throwing his head to the side and causing something to splatter onto the small car's windshield. They get up to their feet and Optimus gives the Con a hard blow to the jaw, causing one eye to fly out of his head and fall off the level, Optimus jumps off to follow.

The small boy turns to his mom excited, "Cool, Mom!" But the mom felt very different and she held her son in terror.

The Con was back on his feet when Optimus reached the ground below the highway. He tried to use his extra arm from his back to attack Optimus but he ducks behind a support pillar and quickly activates one of his Energon blades. The Con came around the side to attack, but Optimus instantly grabbed his arm and sliced it off, He turned to the side and grabbed the Con around the head with his other arm before driving his Energon blade through his head, he turned the blade giving the final blow. Optimus throws the body backward causing the head to detach from the body. He walks around the body, making sure that he's dead and that no other Cons were around. Once he secured the area he deactivated the Energon blade and made his way to Mission City.
