today, beomgyu arrived to school feeling depressed. he was so so very distraught and disappointed about heeseung. his heart was practically broken. every minute he would sigh, depressed and waiting for someone to ask him what was wrong.

right now, he was LOUDLY sighing.

"beomgyu, what the hell is wrong with you?" hueningkai asked, both taehyun and beomgyu looking up at him.

"hueningkai, i swear-" taehyun groaned before beomgyu started. why is it always hueningkai starting up story time?

"it all started yesterday.. i saw heeseung.." beomgyu began, his never ending sighs making their way into the story every then and now. taehyun sighed as well, not wanting to listen to any of this bullshit again.

"a-and then, he s-said he.. had a g-girlfriend.." beomgyu cried into his hands, his shoulders shaking. hueningkai looked at him, feeling shocked and empathetic that his crush rejected him without a confession. while taehyun looked stressed, having heard that story about 10 times today.

"i- wow? uh. are you.. okay, hyung?" hueningkai asked, unsure of how to comfort the crying boy. taehyun just groaned.

"just leave him be, he'll get over him when he.." he whispered something to hueningkai, but beomgyu didn't hear it. suddenly, he was curious. he stopped crying and looked at them.

"what did you say?" he sniffled, wiping his eyes. taehyun smiled and shook his head.

"you would've heard it if you weren't crying over heeseung anymore when like 10 other people like you." he snorted. beomgyu looked at him in surprise.

"r-really? that many people like me? who? you gotta tell me all the details, like who likes me, and what do they say about me, and how did you find out, and everything!" he grinned, as wide as the ocean. taehyun raised an eyebrow.

"i thought you wanted heeseung?"

beomgyu's excitement died down. "i-i do. but, i'm curious." he coughed. taehyun slowly nodded, his lips pursed and his eyebrows furrowed. very doubtful.

"okay, well.. heeseung's friend karina likes you. she said you're cute." taehyun sat up, watching as beomgyu processed what he just said.

"just cute? not like, nice or funny? just cute?" beomgyu unknowingly leaned in, finding this conversation interesting now that heeseung's friend was mentioned. taehyun nodded.

"woah! taehyun, how do you know this?" hueningkai exclaimed, shocked.

"the great grapevines told me." taehyun sipped on his drink before putting his hands in the air. (🤗) "just kidding. half of the people who like beomgyu confessed to me thinking i was him." he laughed.

"TAEHYUN WHAT" both hueningkai and beomgyu said in sync, choking on their spit.

"a-and you never told me this why?" beomgyu coughed, patting his chest as he looked at the smiley taehyun.

"i just told you now."

he rolled his eyes, "whatever, just tell me what happened."
