“Alright kiddos,” Coach Yamado paced back and forth in front of the volleyball kids, “our first game is in two weeks,”
“First game?” Natsu whispered to (F/n). (F/n) only hummed as she felt her nerves pick up at the thought of the first game.
“Being so, we will be holding weekend practices, inform your parents or guardians about this change,” Coach Yamada continued.
“Great, now my weekends are occupied,” Kisho whined quietly under his breath, making Rei chuckle.
“It’s not so bad when you finish your homework the day before,” Rei told him.
“But Fridays are movie days for my family,” Kisho told him.
“You have movie days?” Rei asked.
KIsho nodded, “what about you?”
Rei shook his head, “both my parents work so when they get home, they’re both tired,”
Kisho frowned, “Why don’t we have a sleepover then? So you can experience a movie night,”
Rei felt his cheeks heat up, “I wouldn’t want to be a bother-”
Kisho shook his head, “you’re not a bother, my family would love to have you over,”
Rei looked down and scratched the back of his head while he thought about it, "are you sure?”
Kisho nodded eagerly, “I’m sure,”
Rei sighed, “Okay,”
“YAY!” Kisho cheered.
“Ahem,” Coach Yamada coughed as Kisho’s outburst caused everyone to look at him, “something exciting news you’d like to share with everyone Sugawara?”
Kisho laughed nervously as his cheeks turned red from embarrassment, “N-no, sorry coach,”
(F/n) squinted her eyes as she looked at Kisho and Rei. She then looked at Natsu who appeared to have done the same. The two looked at each other and smirked when both their brains telepathically agreed on the same thought.
“As I was saying,” Coach Yamada went back to addressing the mini team, “I will be observing you guys in today’s practice more intently as I need to form our official line-up team,”
Natsu looked at (F/n), “Who do you think will make it to the official team?”
