We drive there and listen to the radio playing soft love music. I feel light today, so light, and it's nice. Why would anyone feel heavy if they have the power to feel light? Our favorite song comes on, and I turn it up and sing along.
"Come on, Dubby!" I say. "Sing along, I know you love it."

"I'm good," he replies. "I'm driving."
"That's never stopped you before. Weren't you the one belting your little heart out to Bonnie Tyler?"
"Stop making me feel embarrassed."
"Yeah, but now just singing along doesn't seem so bad, right?" He slowly starts to give in until we are both singing our little hearts out. I love being with Dubby, he feels safe, like home. I wonder what my secret admirer feels like. His quests feel like home, kinda, even though we are going out of town.
"Wanna stop for Frozen Coke and snacks?" Dubby says.
"Do I heck?" What's more fun than the customary staple of the convenience store? Nothing, that's the answer. Well, maybe after today everything will change. And I'm also hoping we spelled the right word. Either way, I'm having and going to continue to have a great time. Because nothing can crush my buzz.
We go in and load up with candy and chocolate and chips and hot dogs and Frozen Cokes. We eat away while driving and listen to tunes. The feeling of really living is so special. When you realize that the little things are the big things.
"I hope that he's not here to kidnap or kill us when we get there. It's like pretty remote."
I'm shocked, why has he said something so negative? "Why would my secret admirer do that, Dubby? He clearly has feelings for me."
"You've never spoken to him."
"We don't know that!" I stab back at him.
"We don't know if you even have a secret admirer. You have to be careful, what if it's a bad man? Huh?"
"Why would a bad man have a sentiment of a Care Bear, Dubby?"
