jaena creaked open the door, peeking out through a small gap of the door and the wall

"who are you hiding from?" jaena jumped in her spot at the sound of the voice, she turned back

"seullie! you scared me, why are you standing there??" she furrowed her brows and closed the door softly

"it's too awkward to be in a room with hot daddy and his friend, and i'm waiting for you"

she made a blank face at seulgi, "please... never call him that again..."

"so... are you hiding from hot da— mr lee"

"ye— uh no.. i'm not, i'm just checking my surroundings... making sure there's no danger.."

seulgi gave her a weird look, "what are you even saying... you're so weird.. did that drug do that to you? is it still in your system?"

"n-no... it's not anymore..!"

"then what are you waiting for, let's go out!" seulgi said, grabbing jaena's hand and pulling her out of the room

"ohhh, they're out, come sit down and have breakfast.. je— mr lee cooked" doyoung said as he saw the two girls approaching them

jeno's head was still, he didn't look back. instead he held the cup of coffee in his hand and drank from it, the bitter taste slid down his throat

his mind still stuck in disbelief

he's not one to contemplate, but right now he was contemplating his life decisions

jaena was not only his best friend's younger sister, she was also his student. if anyone found out about this, his teaching career would be screwed

"thank you mr lee, for helping us yesterday. we are sorry for the trouble we have caused" seulgi bowed to him in attempt to show her appreciation

turning back, jeno sternly faced them

"if you really want to say sorry, be careful when going out. don't just trust anyone to buy you a drink, especially when you're drunk"

he smiled, "now eat your breakfast before you go, i can't possibly let my students starve"
