Union. The academy to go to if you want to be a hunter, hero, or use your demonic powers for good. Promises to treat everyone as equal beings. It's amazing. But, every good, has it's equal or overpowering evil. Deep in the beautiful facade of Union...
A couple of months have passed since you worked on the assembly line on the Olympus. With the help of Ethan and Iris, the assembly line is back in perfect working order. By now, half of the Retribution looked like a skeleton of a large animal. Right now, the assembly line is making hundreds of the C-6 robots. Right now, you, Ethan, and Iris are trying to repair the C-8 assembly line.
Ethan: "F/n sir, can you please hand me that wrench?" He asks.
"Sure." You pick up a wrench, and hand it to him. Over the months, you and Ethan have become best friends, brothers almost. The two of you would die for each other.
Soon, Ethan turns a nut on a bolt before standing up.
Ethan: "There we go. We should be able to start C-8 production now. Now we can work on the C-12 production." He presses a button on a control pad.
The C-8 assembly line started to make a whirring noise as the mechanical arms started to put together the first C-8. Going down the assembly line, I truly saw how big this variant of the bot was. It was about three feet taller than the C-6. And it was equipped with two shields and an F-Spar portable laser weapon. Soon, the power source of the bot was installed. It powered up, and hopped off the assembly line and stood at a solid 9 feet.
"Ethan, what's this?"
Ethan: "This sir, is the C-8. Equipped with two retractable shields and an F-SPAR portable laser gun. It shoots a constant beam of energy at the enemy. Very sturdy, and pretty useful on the battlefield."
"I can imagine."
Ethan: "Yeah. But since this is done, you can choose what we do next. Do we focus on the C-12 production, or Warden, Skelter, and other warship productions."
"What are any of those?"
Ethan: "The C-12 Battle Tank is a 12 foot mech equipped with a gatling gun, a main cannon, and a rocket salvo. You know about the wardens. Skelters are a sort of jet fit for space and planet atmospheres."
"Hmm, well, better chance right now, is to focus on our soldiers. And we might not be able to salvage the titanium needed from the Retribution. So let's focus on the C-12 assembly line."
Iris: "That's an issue. We need more titanium."
"Well like I said about the lunar port. There's most likely titanium still there."
Ethan: "That's a good point. There's also a fueling station there, so we can fuel the transport pod while there."
Iris: "Good plan."
Salter: "Will you need other soldiers?"
Ethan: "Most likely not ma'am. When're we heading out sir?"
"Whenever we're ready."
A couple of hours later. You, Ethan, and Iris were walking into the pod. We were all holding some rifles. Ethan told you that they were called Volks.

We got into some harnesses, and soon, broke off from the shipyard.
Ethan: "Computer, FTL jump to the USNA Lunar Gateway." The computer sets the destination.
Soon, the pod jumps all the way from Mars, to the moon. Soon, the lunar gateway was seen.
Ethan: "There it is. The Lunar Gateway. The place where the UNSA use to move their important materials to rebuild their fleet. Been abandoned since then."
The pod drifts to the docking bay, and connects. Gravity is reestablished. I activate my breather, and load my weapon. Ethan opens the airlock, and we walk in.
Ethan: "Should be clear. I don't think this place has been visited since the last attack." He says.
We sneak our way through the lunar gateway, making our way to the storage bay, where Ethan said to be a mass amounts of raw titanium. Ethan opens the door, and we walk in. Like he said, there's a mass amount of raw titanium.
"Wow, you weren't kidding." I say.
We walk inside. The entire storage bay is full of titanium.
"So, how're we going to bring all of this back to the Olympus?" I ask.
Iris: "This bay holds some transport crafts for easy delivery between Earth and the moon."
"Good. Now, Ethan. Is there a way for the crafts to fly themselves?" I ask.
Ethan: "Yeah. They're made for automatic and manual transport. I'll trigger them to start loading the titanium now sir." He goes off to activate the loading crafts.
After a good while, the titanium is being transported out of the bay, using their FTL jumps to get to mars and back. Soon, the titanium is all transported, and safely back on mars. We load into the transport craft, and go back to mars. I see that there are a lot more C-6 robots now and a couple hundred C-8's. The loading crafts bring the rest of the titanium to the C-12 assembly lines. We land, and depart from the ship. Things seem to be getting better.
(A week later)
Now, everything's coming full circle. Ethan's able to make the C-12 assembly line work. Out of all of them, this one was hit the hardest. It took a week for Ethan to fix it. He's now finishing up on the final wiring. Soon, the assembly line starts humming, and parts begin to move. The weapons move down from the sides onto an upper half of the C-12. The lower half is constructed, and attached to the upper half. Soon, the first C-12 was built. The giant powered on. The weapons clicked, loading munitions into the chambers. The light on the sensor turns on.

The arms extend, then retract.
Ethan: "There we are, the C-12 battle tank. Low brains, lotta brawn."
"Wow." I say while gazing up at the mech. "So, now we focus on warships. Better course of action." I say.
Ethan: "Of course sir. The assembly lines will continue to make bots. We should have enough titanium to make an entire small fleet. Maybe even the resources enough to rebuild the Olympus." He says.
"Rebuild the Olympus?" I ask, a bit baffled.
Ethan: "Mhm, but it's gonna take a looong time admiral."
"How long?" I ask.
Iris: "Utmost two years. Time can be reduced the more soldiers we have. It should take another year to make the rest of the fleet."
"That's actually pretty quick." I say.
Ethan: "Technology back then was more superior than it is now."
"I can see. So, let's get to it then." I say.
Ethan departs a large number of the C-6 bots to the carcass of the Olympus. We land, and he starts ordering around the bots. I look at what the SDF is currently. I smile, knowing what I can do to make it better. I'm ready for the years to come.
