A Date To Remember

"Hey! Birkin Bag!"

Birkin perked up at the familiar voice calling his name, recognizing it instantly. The teasing of his name was still kept on going even after two weeks since they last met. Across the street, there he was, Prince, energetically waving his arm at him.

Turning around, Birkin spotted the blond-headed figure clad in a matching white shirt, white jacket, and sweatpants, completing his chic look with a pair of stylish black sunglasses that created a contrast from his all-white outfit. From a distance, he noticed that Prince rather resembled to a bunny. The fabric of his jacket appeared to be fluffy, and the color white reminded him so much like a bunny. A wide smile spread across Birkin's face at the whimsical thought of his as he looks at the human-bunny figure slowly approaching him.

It's so silly of me to think like that, his inner thoughts quietly whispered to him.

"Hey there! Mr. Royal Prince guy!" Exclaimed Birkin jokingly, as they closed the gap between them, sharing laughter at their joyful reunion. After their last date on Valentine's Day, it has been a little while since Birkin and Prince met again.

In the delightful span of the past two weeks, Birkin and Prince have found joy in their playful banter, exchanging teasing remarks and sharing laughter, ever since their unexpected dinner date encounter. Engaging in daily texting conversations and two video calls thus far, they've shared plenty of stories regarding their lives, crafting a deeper connection between them, revealing the thin threads that unknowingly bind their lives together.

As they became transparent and honest, more things amongst them were shared. As they unfolded the wrinkled pages of their past relationships, Birkin and Prince realized that they both wanted to be friends at the moment, wanting to learn more about each other first and stay comfortable in their early friendship stages. Surprisingly, they also discovered more things in common ㅡ similar lifestyles, a passion for cars and fashion, and a shared joy in living a relaxed, carefree life. They're also great match as they both come from similar well-off backgrounds, born into privilege and wealthy abundance.

Their bond has become so fitting, like two puzzle pieces put together just right, almost as if fate had brought them together. Their connection feels like a touch of magic, a delightful surprise that happened when they were least expecting it.

"Apologies, thy majesty, pardon thy guileless error," Birkin humorously expressed in Old English, performing a playful bow as a gesture of his apology. Teasing each other has become quite the habit for these two soul-friends.

Prince chuckled, his arms casually crossed against his chest and a playful glint can be seen in his eyes. "So, where's your parking spot? I thought we were heading to this mall and not the other one," he noted, pointing across the street. Their original plan was to meet at the mall where Prince had initially parked his car, but there was a slight detour as Birkin unintentionally ended up at the one across the street. Now, here they were, meeting in the middle between the two malls to clear the air.

"I took the wrong exit, and then suddenly, somehow I ended up there," Birkin confessed, offering a sheepish smile. "But we're still going to this mall!" He pointed at the mall behind Prince. "I hope you don't mind me parking over there though," he quickly added, feeling sorry over his carelessness.

"No worries at all!" Prince's understanding tone reassured Birkin, immediately putting him at ease. "Your shirt is pretty cute, by the way," swiftly changing the conversation, he complimented. Birkin couldn't help but smile as Prince complimented his cute shirt; an oversized black piece adorned with an adorable Mickey Mouse graphic, boldly showcased in front of the Gucci label that was printed across his chest.

Casually lowering his sunglasses down to his nose, Prince continued to study Birkin's fashion ensemble. "And you're embracing the summer vibe with shorts and slippers. Nice touch," he remarked, leaving Birkin feeling a bit shy yet undeniably flattered. Birkin's outfit, complete with a black hard-shell Gucci bag, perfectly complemented Prince's all-white outfit, creating a harmonious contrast like Yin and Yang.
