You said you're curious to see
Who I really am beneath
All these lies and theories
Who I really am under the mask

You were entranced by my voice
My humour and laughter
And you thought it would be just as amazing
As what's really under the mask

You got close to me and I allowed it
You became my best friend
We would play and record all the time
But I'm not ready to show you whats under the mask

We became inseparable as I fell for you
And you said that you fell for me too
But little did you know that you fell for the facade
Because that's better than the thing under the mask

Yet the happy exterior wasn't enough
To quench your thirst for truth
Were you that curious that you had to know
The horrors that lay under the mask?

I tried to stop you from finding out
I kept you out, only to protect you
Because I know that you wouldn't love me anymore
Once you see whats under the mask

But this is all on you
You had to force it, didn't you?
I told you that you weren't ready
To face the secrets under the mask

The shock on your face said it all
As you stared into my empty eyes, my windowless soul
You were frozen in fear
As I showed you the monster under the mask

Too scared to even say anything
As your eyes took in every part
Of the imperfection that lay in front of you
The imperfections that lay waiting under the mask

The scars that tore up my skin
Couldn't compare to your silence that's tearing my soul
Now tell me, Evan, do you still love me?
The real me? The Delirious under the mask

A/N: Heyaa!! So I haven't posted anything for the past two or three days (i think) because I've been trying to figure out what course to shift into... And lo and behold, I chose BS BAA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy) a 5 year course! XD

I'm still writing don't worry :] and I'll try to update both E3 Mishap and Speak Now today :D But I'll also be playing Don't Starve Together (hehe <3) so yeah!
